Hello everyone!

Two weeks passed since the poll started, so i think most of those who wanted has answered.

I think it is a good idea to share the general results with you and ask a follow-up question.

Results and my comments:

1. Themes (almost half of responses) - some people dislike non-military minis, some people prefer them (as March-April poll showed). Having (limited) democracy means that i (mostly) adhere to poll results, but it also gives an aberration of participation. I can only advice to those who want something to be done to be active before and during the vote and encourage others to vote for your fav theme. You can (and advised to) vote even with Private tier, please remember it. We are small community, which means that every voice matters more than 1% (way more than any political vote you ever participated probably).

2. Modular and non modular - some people prefer non-modular as they're less hassle with. Fortunately this is what i actually CAN improve. So, starting from May, all models will have non-modular versions (think about 6-8 per month wherever possible)

3. Scale preferences - some people play different scales and don't want to bother. Problem here is simple - i have zero ideas on what scales are being used to begin with. Probably having non-modular minis is going to help (?) as they'll be easier to print small and easier to rescale (1 file per model instead of 4+). Also supports i provide usually work fine in 1/72.

4. Not enough content - unfortunately, it all goes from number of supporters. My initial (and still current) goal was to go from 4 minis to 5 per month after hitting 100 Patrons, yet I've never came close enough to this mark. It means i also need to do more side projects or commissions to pay the bills.

Replies i can't do something with (finances, lack of printers, not liking subscription system etc) are omitted for obvious reasons.

So, now the question - when add non-modular versions to releases, should the heads be separate or part of body?

Cheers!

Hi, I do not mind modular, but non modular are easier to print and rescale (sometime having a single 28mm hand printed is kind of annoying...). One aspect of modular figures that often does not get mentioned is the fact that often poses are less authentic than one piece miniatures. As for scale I play 28mm (whatever it means these days) and 15mm. Another advantage of single piece figures is that they are easier to rescale to 15mm for example. As for subjects I am firmly in the military camp. While some civilian figures/paramilitary groups are fine I really do not feel any need to game crime gangs and the like. As for the period focus I am happy to say that late cold war early contemporary is fine for me. There are still plenty of subjects to hit. I would not mind some US Army late 70 to mid 80 (with M1 helmets but with the new gear starting to get in). South and North Korean are also something I would love to see. Italians too!

I love whatever modular / non-modular options you can provide they are all valuable for different reasons. Aside from that I play exclusively in 28mm (Heroic) ... essentially the 28mm scale you're using now works for pretty much everything I'm doing. In terms of content themes I am usually playing with modern US, Russian, Middle East military/insurgent contexts (late 90s+ into modern day). For non-military content I'm usually using that for things like Zona Alfa, Ambush Z, modern setting RPGs, etc.
