OPEN POLL - results of previous poll and follow-up
- 1. Separate heads for non-modulars 45
- 2. Heads as a part of body for non-modulars 7
Hello everyone!
Two weeks passed since the poll started, so i think most of those who wanted has answered.
I think it is a good idea to share the general results with you and ask a follow-up question.
Results and my comments:
1. Themes (almost half of responses) - some people dislike non-military minis, some people prefer them (as March-April poll showed). Having (limited) democracy means that i (mostly) adhere to poll results, but it also gives an aberration of participation. I can only advice to those who want something to be done to be active before and during the vote and encourage others to vote for your fav theme. You can (and advised to) vote even with Private tier, please remember it. We are small community, which means that every voice matters more than 1% (way more than any political vote you ever participated probably).
2. Modular and non modular - some people prefer non-modular as they're less hassle with. Fortunately this is what i actually CAN improve. So, starting from May, all models will have non-modular versions (think about 6-8 per month wherever possible)
3. Scale preferences - some people play different scales and don't want to bother. Problem here is simple - i have zero ideas on what scales are being used to begin with. Probably having non-modular minis is going to help (?) as they'll be easier to print small and easier to rescale (1 file per model instead of 4+). Also supports i provide usually work fine in 1/72.
4. Not enough content - unfortunately, it all goes from number of supporters. My initial (and still current) goal was to go from 4 minis to 5 per month after hitting 100 Patrons, yet I've never came close enough to this mark. It means i also need to do more side projects or commissions to pay the bills.
Replies i can't do something with (finances, lack of printers, not liking subscription system etc) are omitted for obvious reasons.
So, now the question - when add non-modular versions to releases, should the heads be separate or part of body?
Cheers!
