This has been one of the most humbling pieces I've done. Jordi Bernet is one the great European cartoonists, and the titular character from Clara After Dark has gone under some sexy hypnosis that I wanted to emulate. What I thought would be a fun, doodle style ended up showing me the gulf between an illustrator stylizing for simplicity with a full understanding of draftsmanship and little old me. Here's my modest take on his style and the Clara pose. I still hope you get to enjoy the small bit of pleasure that I took from imagining Daphne participating in some of those erotic hypnosis scenes.
