The thing about Kim Jong-il pronouncing R's as L's, as in "I want them arive (alive)". It's a stereotype on how non-native English speaking Asian immigrants in America pronounce L's as R's. They even made fun of it in "A Christmas Story" when the family had to go to the Chinese restaurant on Christmas day (after the neighbor's dogs ate their turkey if you remember). Anyway, the Chinese restaurant staff sang "Deck the Halls" for the family singing "Deck the harls (halls) with boughs of horry (holly), fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra" (instead of fa la la la la).
