I do wonder what goes through your mind when you hear your partner tell you one story and then you find his mug with a bullet hole in it... I have to admit her quitting her job so impromptu was a surprise.

My heart just sank when Lalo finds Jimmy's car. I wish the guy was stupid, but sadly he's not. What I think is super important is that Mike overheard the whole conversation between Lalo and Jimmy and knows he doesn't cave under pressure and doesn't spill the beans. And again, Kim is just a boss lady in that scene lol. She might be my favourite character of all time, while also being highly flawed (let's not forget her weird decisions sometimes :D).

Episode 10. What a craaayzaaay finale again!
Here we immediately see Kim dealing with stuff in a great way... urgh, why! :D Even Jimmy advises her to not go through with this scheme. Moments like that are hard to watch, but I do feel like it shows how great the show is written. Characters are not black and white, you can love much about them and still be like 'NOOOO!' at other times.

And then the attack... Lalo surviving is just the scariest thing. He knows. He lives. He is angry. Damn, Nacho is in trouble isn't he :(.

I really do like that they're bringing back the Sandpiper Crossing class action suit from all the way back in season 1. Over the seasons I totally forgot that Jimmy is supposed to get a big chunk of the settlement for bringing it to HHM. It looks like Kim has finally gone over to the dark side which sucks because Howard isn't that bad of a guy. In fact, he's probably the closest thing to a decent emotionally stable person in the series. Yes, he could be petty like when he sent Kim to document review, but Howard appears to be strong enough to admit when he was wrong and hurt people. I recently realized that Howard is actually what a lawyer should be. He serves his clients to his best of his ability and he's dispassionate. He doesn't let his emotions get in the way of being reasonable and rational when practicing law. In fact, that seems to be a common theme in the series. Jimmy and Kim, to a growing extent, let their emotions decide how they practice law. They're able to justify unethical behavior because of slights real and imagined. Kim justifies trying to destroy Howard's career by saying the settlement money would let her do more pro bono work! I also think you're right that one of the reasons Jimmy does love Kim is she has been a relatively honest and ethical person. Maybe Jimmy believes this helps him stay (somewhat) in check. Maybe he justified doing all these things for Kim by telling himself he was helping a good person who "deserves" good things. I can't help but think Jimmy is now worried that he "ruined" Kim and made her just as bad as him which sucks because it's obvious Jimmy has a lot of self loathing.
