Hi peeps!

I was really excited to get into this one and I was not disappointed! It's nice to get into a new franchise on moments that it's coming out and enjoying that 'wooow' feeling together with you all. Can't wait for the second part!

I saw it at the cinema, but re-watches are tricky here in Canada. Theatres are the only option. The copy I had (that a friend gave me) played faster than yours, and it was too tiring to constantly keep it in sync. I’ve pre-ordered the official digital version, which delivers Dec 3. That should (*fingers crossed*) sync better. So I’ll ‘join you’ for Dune in early December!

I would read the book, dune is the first of 6 (original series not the extended booths). There some world building points that were left out, such as what mentats are and why you see no computing systems and would help complete the picture for you. If you don't want to spoil the ending just stop when you reach the fight with jamis. That should be sufficient to complete the picture for the second half.
