I'll watch the 2016 version when you put it out, but I'd have to say that it's probably better you watched the 2016 version first, then got to see the original. If only the plot of the 2016 version somehow "picked up" on where the originals left off.

the beginning of the movie makes me want to go to a library. I just looked up a public library close to me on google maps, so I'll probably go check it out today. I used to spend hours in a library as I kid when I skipped school. Either that or museums.
