Hi peeps,

Just an update for next uploads: this week you can still expect 2 GOT episodes and a new poll. Next week I'll upload Ghostbusters and Captain America: Winter Soldier! I was going to upload Ghostbusters first, but apparently I recorded the 2016 one instead of the 1984 one, yikes! But you definitely get the 1984 next week :).

About The Shawshank Redemption... Honestly it's one of my favourite movies so far, if not my favourite. So many moral issues are pointed out and it brings it in such an amazing way... aaah, I honestly wish I could see it again for the first time immediatly. What did you think about it?

I'm a bit late again, but I wanted to say, that this movie is one of my favourites, too. I think, I watched it now four times, and I find it still nearly perfekt. I think i like the drama stories of Stephen King even more than the horror stories. Anyway, thanks for giving us the opportunity to watch it along with you. It was a great pleasure.

The people who made this movie are definitely the same ones who made The Green Mile. The lawyer at the beginning of the movie is also one of the guards in The Green Mile. He is so young in this film. Believe it or not, this movie was a flop when it came out in theaters. Forest Gump was a big hit that same year. Morgan Freeman's son is in this movie with a small part. At the beginning when everyone is like "fresh fish" when the bus enters the prison, their is a black man up front that does this "railing in the fishing pole movement. That's Morgan Freeman's son. When Andy is talking about making up a person for all the illegal money managing that Andy is doing for the Warden, he mentions "second cousin to Harvey The Rabbit." Harvey The Rabbit is a very old story about a man who see a six foot tall Rabbit that walks around like a human does. An old 1950s movie that you could react to if you want to. If you think about it, Andy being framed for murder is like a blessing in disguise. Had he not been framed and went to prison, that Warden and his own personal guard would have never been stopped with their corruption. Probably when the Warden had passed away, that guard would have been promoted the new Warden.
