Ayyyyy Patrons!

So if I get it right, this one is not part of the Marvel franchise (because Marvel didn't own the rights to this movie yet), but it fits into the story going on further? I'm glad I watched it regardless :) I liked it more than I anticipated! Before Iron Man I didn't know the concept of an 'origin story' but I like that a bunch!

I hope you enjoy this reaction!

Glad you enjoyed it, since many dismiss the movie as unnecessary. Easy way to make sure you're watching in the right order would be to just check the movie list on Wikipedia here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Cinematic_Universe#Feature_films As long as you don't go wandering around outside of that list, there shouldn't be anything spoiler-y.

Jack the Narrator

Without spoiling future movies I thought I should note that General Ross will play a later role on down the line in the MCU. Edward Norton as Bruce Banner was an excellent casting choice, but due to creative differences between him and the Marvel producers he stepped down from the role after this film. From this point on Banner will be played by Mark Ruffalo. Other movies starring Norton that I highly recommend are the legal drama PRIMAL FEAR, the romantic comedy KEEPING THE FAITH (which he also directed), the offbeat true story THE PEOPLE VS. LARRY FLYNT, the powerful racial drama AMERICAN HISTORY X, the hilarious dark comedy DEATH TO SMOOCHY, the intimate crime drama 25TH HOUR, the corrupt police thriller PRIDE & GLORY, and last but not least: FIGHT CLUB, one of my personal all-time favorites. My name and avatar are based on that movie. Tim Roth, who played Blonsky, is also a superb actor best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino's films as well as his starring role on the TV series LIE TO ME in which he played ostensibly a human lie detector. One movie with Roth to check out in the future is the period Scottish adventure drama ROB ROY opposite Liam Neeson, he received an Oscar nomination for his role as the films villain. It is one of the most memorable bad guys I've ever seen. .
