Hi peeps!

Last week it was superclose between Godfather and The Hobbit, so I decided I will do both of those. Godfather will release this week and I'm working on recording all the Hobbit movies so they can release back to back and not with weeks apart :).

Buuuuutttttttttt what else would you like to see coming soon ^^ ? Also feel free to add recommendations in the comments and react to other people's recommendations so I can get an idea which ones are big ones! :)

I also think "Clueless" would be awesome

I would like to see movies like Titanic, The Shining, any Quentin Tarantino film, Jurassic Park, Dark Knight, Matrix, Star Wars, Interstellar, etc. What does everyone else think?

Here's my really long response, if you care. I wonder how much she'd enjoy a Tarantino movie, given her squeamishness. If she *did* watch one I'd think it ought to be "Reservoir Dogs" or "Pulp Fiction"; I wouldn't just say any Tarantino film. I'd see her reaction to either of those before suggesting anything else in his catalogue. BUT it looks like she's going to watch "Inglorious Basterds" soon, so... oh well. "Titanic" is definitely a solid choice for her, although that movie does nothing for me, so similar movies I'd prefer she watch would include: "Clueless", "10 Things I Hate About You". Maybe "Dirty Dancing". "Ghost" even (certainly before "Titanic".) Tangentially related movies like: "Mr Right" and/or "Grosse Point Blank" (Action/RomComs; I lean towards "Mr Right" because Sam Rockwell is great and is allowed to really have fun and be weird in it.) Also "A Knight's Tale", which isn't quite a romance (I'd say the romance is kind of the B-plot?) but is a really fun movie with quite a bit of heart. Jurassic Park, Dark Knight, The Matrix, The Shining... all classic movies so I'd enjoy her reaction, but those movies largely aren't movies that really resonate with me, so... I'd enjoy her reaction but I'm not particularly invested in seeing her get to them sooner rather than later. Well... maybe "The Matrix" sooner than later. Most of my lack of excitement is due to the underwhelming sequels. I don't think it's quite up her alley the way a romance like Titanic is, but I'd be shocked if she didn't really enjoy it, given some of the other movies she's loved. ("V for Vendetta" hopefully would follow shortly on its heels, given the Wachowski siblings connection as well as her love for The Hunger Games.) And since she's watching the MCU, I'm not all that interested in getting her to watch another comic book movie in "Dark Knight" (I assume you'd want her to watch "Batman Begins" first? Is that implie?d) but it's a really good movie, so... I'm not going to push for it, but I could definitely see myself voting for it in a poll, depending on the other movies. I thought Interstellar wasn't that good; I've seen it with some frequency in the comments here, so... there's a strong push for it, I guess. But... I just was underwhelmed. If I had my druthers I'd go for a different Nolan film. I wonder how much she'd care for Nolan; she seems really empathetic, and Nolan is so remarkably uninterested in people and relationships. I mean... I'm not here to shit on him, I appreciate the value of his movies, I wouldn't want all movies to be the same. But I'd maybe go with "The Prestige" first? Among his movies, that and "Memento" are the only two that I *really* like, so... But that being said, "Interstellar" may be the movie of his that's most interested in people and relationships (low bar); either that or "The Prestige". So I'd go with "The Prestige" of those two because I like it more, but... you know, I wouldn't be bothered if she watches "Interstellar". It's just not a movie I will be championing any time soon.
