Hi Peeps,

I actually really liked this movie :D The crime - comedy - drama combo really seems to be something I like haha. What a shame they hated Bruges! :')

This was great! I love this movie. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started it either. I like how it played heavily with the theme of redemption (do some people even deserve it, is it better for the world to just have the bad to disappear or have a chance at redemption to be reformed, many other themes I'm sure I missed). The main character is far from a good guy, none of them are, but it was hard for me not to root for him getting that chance at redemption. In a purely black and white sense, Harry's code, there's no coming back from what he did but this movie played with that idea in an interesting and entertaining way. I'm glad you liked it. Side note-I think the jokes about how terrible Bruges is landed in this movie because his comments contrasted so heavily with how beautiful it looked. Also, the main character is a bit off in general and it was a good way to show that as well. Thanks for the reaction. I love it :)

This was one of those movies that I heard about, but waited a long time to finally see. I loved it and I added Bruges to my map of places I want to visit. It was fun watching you watch it, especially as you laughed more and more at the constant digs at Bruges and Belgium. If you are looking for a more lighthearted hitman with a heart movie, I highly recommend Grosse Pointe Blank.
