This has been fueled by Lucas himself, who after the release of The Empire Strikes Back, revealed that “Vader” comes from the Dutch word for “father”, adding years later that “Darth” is a variation of dark, so Darth Vader would mean “dark father” Yes Wicket, the Ewok who encountered Leia was played by an Actor name Warwick Davis.

I mean... the character Darth Vader was named before Lucas decided he was going to be Luke's father, so that's not really true. It was just a name Lucas made up.

I'm surprised you haven't watched the latest trilogy too. The first two, Force Awakens and Last Jedi, are great (despite what certain fanboys might say) but the third one, Rise of Skywalker, IS a complete mess.
