As someone else said, "Jackie Brown" is the only Tarantino film that wasn't one of his original scripts. It was based on a novel by Elmore Leonard, who also wrote the novels for "Out of Sight" and "Get Shorty". He also wrote the short story for "3:10 to Yuma".
