I’ve done a little traveling... Scotland (Edinburgh & Inverness, at least) is just beautiful and rich with history. Deep in Peru (Cusco & Olatomblyano & see Machu Picchu before they limit it to only the richest tourists) is a landscape like no other with history from before history was written... and the people are so nice (Lima is fine but it’s a city that makes you wish you spent more time in the mountains). Paris is relevant to your artistic side but I’d never go back. Amsterdam is beautiful and the residents are the kindest people I have met, if you can find any amongst the millions of tourists. We had a super cheap AirBnB in the swankiest neighborhood. Normandy on D-Day was a powerful experience for me.

Keep an eye on airlines that are opening new international flight plans. The first few months are crazy cheap. We paid $500 for 2 round trip tickets to Scotland (cheaper than a 2hr flight to FL) and that was late into the deals. Originally tickets were $60.
