Hey everyone! I'm posting this announcement blog from my new place in the Seattle area! Woo!

This move has been pretty exhausting. Kaylii and I drove cross-country in about 4 days. Since then, we've been spending the past couple weeks unboxing and organizing our stuff, buying furniture and assembling it (yay Ikea), and doing the usual new resident tax, car and business form stuff.

Ran into a few hitches along the way. Our place was supposedly cleaned before we moved in, but they did a shit job, so we had to shampoo clean the carpet ourselves. Ikea delivered the wrong couch to us, so we had to sort that out with them. Basically we've been sitting on the floor for a few weeks. Just today we got our desks and chairs. The desks need some modifying for keyboard trays, but otherwise they're pretty set up. Still waiting on some bookshelves to arrive so we can finish our office (books everywhere!). We also just got internet, since the cable company we were going to use were messing around, and kept delaying installing our service. Ended up going with our only other option - the dreaded Comcast - but we got internet within two days, and seems stable so far.

Things are a little behind schedule because of this, so this month may be a little back-heavy. However, I'm itching to draw, especially since I haven't really done so in almost a month, so I'm ready to get back into the swing of things!

A note about Horsin' Around - I will be doing a special thanks page for Triple Shot Tier and up patrons. If you don't want your name listed on there, or want a different name used instead of your patreon username, let me know!

Rewards will be sent out in a couple days. Still waiting for a bunch of people to get their payments processed. Hopefully things will be back to their regular schedule shortly. Thanks for your patience and support! If it wasn't for you and patreon, I wouldn't have been able to afford moving here in the first place, so big hugs to all! :3

In just thankful the move went smooth(ish) Comcast, time Warner and cox, are all on my isp shit lists but, any port in a storm right? And ikea? If I could upholster, I'd be telling you to expect some packages. Their stuff is functional but, durable it's not. Well no, they're better then Walmart by any stretch though, that's like saying wet cardboard is stronger then wet paper >.

Kadath

It is. We probably won't be completely settled in until mid-October, but I'm gonna start working on stuff before then, because I'm gonna go craaaaazy otherwise XD

Kadath

Eh, I haven't had any bad experiences with IKEA, and I've been using them for years. Their stuff is a lot sturdier than furniture you get from most non-furniture specific stores, at least. And yeah, going for Comcast is not ideal, but at least it seems to be stable internet so far. I've been checking Fast.com and Speedtest.net to make sure I'm not getting throttled ;p

Glad you made it there safely! Best of luck in your new place :D
