Okay, Cam definitely has Olivia pinned, in more ways than one. I can see why he’s the counselor if he’s this good at reading people, or perhaps he’s just good at reading Olivia. So we know what his intentions are with her (or at least, what he says they are). Now I’m interested to see why he wants to help Olivia move to the reality principle, and what he gets out of that, assuming he’s trying to get anything out of it at all. There is the off chance that there is a bit of altruism in his intentions, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see. It’s still pretty early in this development and the possible outcomes haven’t narrowed down enough for me to confidently say where I think this will go.

I will concede it makes for a wonderful fictitious plot device, and can be easily written off as an earlier time setting. He was a valuable stepping stone in the field, but we have learned much since his days
