Me: So Rory and Dynamite had conflated views of each other based on their appearances and occupations, and this is related to Dynamite rushing to date Rory despite not really knowing him very well. This is because Dynamite feels anxiety and peer pressure to be like her co-workers/friends because they're all in long term relationships, which is something I hinted at all the way back to page 3 of the comic. Comments: Oh Puzzle. Sometimes I REALLY resent that character.

I really like the lighting in the Safari scenes during this part. They give a nice glow to the characters’ lighter features. The last panels do make Glitter’s remark about them being a family in an earlier ask page really ring true. Hell, it got Night and Diamond to indirectly agree on something.

As dumb as it sounds I appreciate dynamites depiction with the pressure from work and folks that are your family essentially making you feel you have to get into a relationship right away well into your twenties because your body is only getting older and it'll get harder. Heck her jumping into Rory so readily kind of cements what that pressure does to us. That the first bit of comfort you get you want to immediately dig your claws into to relieve that pressure and feel normal. So to have that apology given , that feels like a weight off the readers shoulders to anyone that needed to hear that

Damn actually going through and reading the hole comic at once there’s a lot of little subtlety’s that make a lot more sense now. Like Rory ending their date plan with a professional handshake and other little stuff like that
