Okay, last week was a bit crazy with all the patreon bugs, a large number of declined pledges, and other issues. Now that it's all taken care of, I wanted to write a reflection on the patreon so far.
When I started this patreon, I had no idea it would be as successful as it's become. I'm incredibly honoured by your generosity, and I'm so grateful for your support, but even more so, I really appreciate the kind words and friendliness you have shown me. Whether it's in the comments, the messages or streams, I love hearing from you all and your eagerness to see new art keeps me motivated. Thank you :D
I think taking my time working on Moving Day really improved the quality of it, and to date, it's my best work in terms of writing and art quality (at least I think so!). In the past, I would have to rush through comic work when I took a month off from commissions, but patreon allowed me to breathe and really refine the work. The better the patreon does, the more time I can focus on comics, and I have plenty more of them planned!
I'd like to know what you guys think worked and didn't work with the patreon these past 6 months. I have a few thoughts on how I might change it up going forward, and I'd like to hear your feedback. I'll post a second write-up to discuss these thoughts.
Again, thank you so much for your support, and I hope you'll continue to support and enjoy my future projects :3
