Hello everyone! Here's the update for October. Lots to go over!

Dirty Talk

Dirty Talk is done. Rewards packs will include all the pages, so if you don't want to go digging through the feed to look at older pages, there ya go. While I'm proud of this comic, it's caused me a lot of consternation regarding the feedback I get (I hate this theme, you never draw Puzzle anymore, etc.), and I saw a drop off in pledges. I don't know if I'll be doing anymore Nightshade comics in the foreseeable future, or at least not without concurrently updating with something else.

What's ironic is the comic was pretty much doubled in page count because early feedback said I needed to rework the story for more characterization. But then people tired of the comic because it went on too long. Ah well.

Share and Share Alike: Part 3

Share and Share Alike: Part 3 starts this month. I basically am making this a crowd pleaser comic, so I tried to cover most of the things people wanted to happen in a Puzzle comic. So yeah, hopefully you'll like it.

The Pleasure Principle: Part 2

Because I'm apparently crazy, I will also be resuming The Pleasure Principle this month. I am going to do a quick set of updates with it with a kind of mini comic, and then SASA 3 and TPP 2 will update on an alternating schedule from here on out. That means you'll get two SASA pages and two TPP pages each month, starting in November.

Why has it taken me so long to continue this story? Truth be told, it's because I was looking into options to host it as a webcomic. Those fell through for a while, and I wanted to go back and clean up the linework and some inconsistencies in the early pages (which I'm in the process of doing). So now that I feel the foundation is firm, I'm comfortable enough to begin working on the rest of it.

Special Announcement

I will be announcing something special, possibly this week. It's a pretty big deal, and it's been something I've wanted to do for a long time. I hope you'll like it when it gets announced!

It's a shame that Dirty Talk caused an overall drop in pledges, but I would like to register the fact that I pledged specifically for that after seeing it on exhentai. I enjoyed it quite a bit!

Jeeze. This is why we can't have nice things. I liked Dirty Talk. I didn't find it too long or boring, and I honestly didn't miss you drawing Puzzle. I really like Nightshade, and Diamond! And I'm happy getting to see them get draw, just as much as Puzz. And it's not like you haven't drawn Puzzle in years. Sheesh. I hope it's not -too- long before we see more of Nightshade's naughty shenanigans and exhibitionism. :D

It's unfortunately become a thing apparently where ppl want me to just draw Puzzle, b/c she's their fave. Nevermind that I hadn't done a proper Night/Pat comic in years, and I had just finished *two* Puzzle comics in a row... I mean, some of the exit reviews I got from dropped pledges (which were a lot) were stuff like 'I came here for Puzzle, not this stupid jackal girl'. Honestly feels like I'm a band that's being told just to repeat my biggest hit over and over again :/

Keep doing what you've been doing, Kad. Dirty Talk was great, and I can't wait for part 2 (for the haters, throw in some Puzzle or Di; that last one would be be really funny if it was Pat's contribution). I also can't wait for S&SA 3, but I'm a huge Puz and Di fan.

Dirty Talk won't get a sequel, but I do have plans for a series about Night talking about her dom days. I might not work on it for a while, but if I do, it may be more like an illustrated story than a full-blown comic.

I thoroughly enjoyed Pat and Night, for the record. You've got a huge cast to work with, it'd be a shame if they didn't get their spotlights. Olivia in particular was my first experience with your work, and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Keep up the awesome work Kad!

Yeah, tbh, I see people asking for Glitter, Ruby, Dynamite, etc. comics and I'm just like 'well I could, but then I'll get even more shit for not making Puzzle the star in everything'. Olivia at least is coming back. People really seem to like her almost as much as Puzzle.
