Some news and change about the Model Improve Plan (Patreon)

Plan The plan has keep changing lately because i was too optimistic at the beginning and thought everything will go well but now i have to cancel a a big part of the plan because of the permission problem.

I must say it is a ambition plan at the beginning because long time ago someone told me Koikatsu 3d model can be extracted from the Koikatsu game and turn it into MMD model and then i edit it to become Blender model, it is a amazing idea, i can extend my model option with that, and now i think my skill finally good enough to try that.

But the reality hit my face hard, not because i fail on extracting model(i haven't try yet so i don't know), is the permission from the model creator. All my early plan is base on the though "I think all the Koikatsu card creator will give me permission to use their card in paid content, all i need is just to ask", because you can easily found paid Koikatsu animation content promo on Pixiv.

And unfortunately, one of the creator who have the most of the Koikatsu card i want for this plan give me a clear No about using his Koikatsu card in paid content. Two other creator didn't reply for a long time, an other two gave me the permission.

I will list my model option and briefly describe their current situation:

Hololive JP

-Sakamata Chloe (Permission allowed from model creator)

Hololive EN

-Ouro Kronii--casual outfit (Model creator not allow use in paid content)

-Nanashi Mumei Emo (Permission allowed from model creator)

-Nerissa Ravencroft, Shiori Novella (The original mmd model creators and one Koikatsu card creator not allow using the model in paid content, the other Koikatsu card creator didn't reply, so unavailable so far)

-IRys (The original mmd model creators and one Koikatsu card creator not allow using the model in paid content)

-Raora Panthera, Gigi Murin (Permission allowed from model creator, Model is making in progress, waiting for the modeler to release it)

Twitch Vtuber

-Filian (Permission allowed from model creator)

-Projekt Melody (Model creator has not responded for a long time)

-Dokibird-new and old version (permission allowed, but the model look a bit rough or "Koikatsu style",not sure am i really going to use this model )

-Saruei-old version (Permission allowed from model creator)

-Silvervale, Veibae, Shylily (Didn't find a suitable model and i don't want to use the old and rough version, unless I commission one of the Koikatsu card creator to make card for them, his model is very beautiful, but that creator seems have a lot of commission currently, he said i probably need to wait for a year)

I am pessimistic about all the model who is in "No reply" situation because these few creators seems very inactive on their pixiv or other social media.

So in the end, there is probably just a few new model i can use and there is only 2 model is Twitch Vtuber and probably won't have new model for a long time. It make me quite frustrated, i thought i can extend a new market but the fact is i can't, 2 model is not enough for extend a new market. This frustrated feel even make me want to learn modeling again but apparently i don't have that time and it make me more frustrated.

And after some thought, i realize the most important part of the plan is adding new shading and adding apply new body to the model, editing a lot of models at once seems not necessary, all the remaining part of the plan only will take a little time, i can just carry it out separately in upcoming animation and no need to spend 2 weeks just for it. So the upcoming schedule will be as usual, i will pick one character for the schedule.

Short summary here:

-The 2 weeks plan will be divided to some small part and carry it out separately in upcoming animation, the upcoming schedule will be as usual.

-Any plan about Twitch Vtuber will be on hold until i have at least 4 models available.

-Adding new outfit to Hololive model is still available but with fewer option because of the permission problem.

-Adding new shading and adding apply new body to the model won't cancel, it is the most important part of the plan.

-Edit new Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact model won't be cancel.
