Hocus Brocus (Patreon)

The first pic of this month is the Duo pic… except that this time it’s actually a trio… 😜

So, here’s what happened… It’s no secret I adore this time of year, and naturally I was counting down the days until I could see “Hocus Pocus 2” (which, without spoiling, I will just say I loved, and actually gave me more feels than expected).

When it came to choose an option for the first pic of the month, my other half reminded me of an idea I’d considered before, and the mood and timing seemed too perfect to pass up, so for the first pic of the month, I decided to go with The Sanderson Brothers (well, maybe more just inspired by the Sanderson Sisters) in an image I’ve called “Hocus Brocus”!! 😄

While I’m actually super glad to have had the chance to get this one out, I have to say, it took a lot out of me!! 😅 Three characters was just one too many, and I’ve spent every waking minute of the last four days trying to get this complete on time. I don’t think I’ve been this close to burnout for a while, and at this point, while I’m happy with the pic, I’m also too spent to see it properly, so I’m not sure how I’ll remember it in the days or weeks to come. 

I have, however, learned (or been reminded) of the importance of not over-reaching and giving myself sufficient time to get stuff done.

I was also pretty happy when I looked back and realised that this new colouring method is starting to become second nature, and I’m still very pleased with the outcome of it!! 😁
