Buzz Lightyear (Patreon)

The first one up in our, “Moneyshot” month is Buzz Lightyear (from the upcoming Lightyear movie).

I came up with a couple of different options for poses (WIPs of these included) before I finally settled on this one.

Given that we’ve only seen a trailer for this so far, the angle was a bit of a challenge because there’s not a lot of references to work with yet (there are also not a lot of references for this particular fluid in space… 😅).

Nonetheless, I managed it and I’m quite happy with the outcome.

Additionally, to warm myself up for this I did a quick sketch of James Bond (though slightly younger than he is currently) and I used it to warm up for the colouring stage also, so even though it’s not technically part of the month, what I have on him is also included in your packs. 😄
