Theme Polls:

I've been experimenting with monthly themes for the last few months. Boss and Beast patrons can vote on a poll, created by me on the fourth week of the month. This poll will have a selection of themes, some focused and some abstract, to choose from. The winner will be the new theme for the following month.

This monthly theme will help guide my choices and the character suggestions of patrons. Hopefully this helps with creativity and inspiration. All characters suggested during a themed month are still valid and acceptable even if they do not fit the theme.  The theme will be flexible enough to fit around those suggestions

For Example: If the theme of the month is Winter. Batman and Deathstroke win the Duo Poll. Neither have a strong connection to Winter so I set their encounter in Mr. Freeze’s lab with intense cold.

All that being said any suggestions that fit the theme and are fun, interesting, unusual, sexy or unique are far more likely to get my attention. So if I like two options equally, I will default to the option that fits the theme.

August 2021 Theme Choices:

For this month’s choices, I’ve asked you awesome possums for input, and I have to say I was overwhelmed with the ideas that came in. There were some that struck similar veins so I combined some and used some others mostly as they were (with some name changes), and the results are as follows:

Summer Games

This combines many of the sport-related ideas and is also inspired by the Olympics.

It’s not just about sport, athletes or even summer but also about the Internationality of it.

This theme would put a sporty spin on the images for this month.

Animen

Essentially short for “Anime Men” - A month for celebrating Anime.

This could be characters from Anime and/or other characters given an Anime twist.

Silver Daddies *

No, this is not about Older Daddy types… don’t let the title fool you. 😅

This theme would see us going back and looking at the characters who got the Silver, or in other words, came in second place in previous months’ polls.

I’m putting this next part in big letters just so everyone sees it…

**PLEASE NOTE: This theme would mean there would be NO CHARACTER SUGGESTIONS next month**

As I would be selecting from past month’s second place results instead.

Side Tricks

This would be a theme to show the Sidekicks some love. No main characters allowed (they get enough screen time anyway) just their loyal (and often underappreciated) assistants.

Ass-Guardians Of The Galaxy

There’s no shortage of awesome TV shows, Movies, Comics, Games etc based in Space, so this month would be all about, as Mike put it, hunks that warm up the cold abyss of space.

No Theme Month

Let’s face it… Some people are not going to like any of the suggestions for a certain month. That’s why each month will always have ‘No Theme’ as a valid option on the poll. If you like none of the themes mentioned above, then this is the theme for you.
