I have narrowed down this month’s suggestions to the one’s that I am the most excited about or that I have an idea for. Additional weight has been given to characters that I have not drawn before, or to unusual pairings. All the suggestions had their own merits and I am definitely looking forward to working on them at some point in the future.

I have also decided to take one suggestion out of the running and use it for my next illustration which I begin work on this coming Thursday. That suggestion is

Nova and Starlord - MCU

To clarify this suggestion of Nova and Starlord is not part of the vote. I will simply be working on it on Thursday.

Poe and Finn - Star Wars Sequel

Poe is an X-wing fighter pilot for the Resistance who inadvertently brings renegade stormtrooper Finn into battle against the First Order. Poe and Finn’s bromance has become a well treaded subject for shippers.

Hawkeye and Cylcops - Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Cyclops is the leader of the X-men, Hawkeye has a bow. Their designs in the game Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 are inspired by classic costumes and MCU costumes. Together they are a wonderful contrast of baseline human versus mutant, leader versus hunter, classic and modern. And they both love a red lens in their glasses.

Dean Winchester - Supernatural

Dean Winchester is a Man of Letters, Hunter of the Supernatural, vessel for the Archangel Michael, ex-bearer of the Mark of Cain, Ex-Demon, Ex-Knight of Hell, Ex-Ghost, Ex-Vampire, Ex-Deceased. The series is moving into it’s 15th and final season.

Squall LeonHart and Zell Dincht

Both Squall and Zell are playable characters in Final Fantasy VIII. Zell’s loud and energetic personality is a foil to Squall’s cold silence. Zell is a master of hand to hand combat and prefers to let his fists do the talking. Squall’s weapon of choice is the Gunblade, one of the most iconic weapons in the FF series.

Reaper and Soldier 76 - Overwatch

Reaper is a wraith-like terrorist who set out to kill his former comrades to feed his desire for revenge. Soldier 76 is a vigilante armed with cutting-edge weaponry who aims to bring his enemies to justice.
