Doc Wottsit Update 6 (Patreon)

Spent yesterday sketching and inking page 4 of the Prologue. Spent today working on colouring Page 1. I didn’t get it finished but I did get a loooot done. It is way harder than I was expecting. I made a lot of errors in the original line work that made completing much harder than it need to be. Lesson learned. When I begin the full comic I may have to seriously consider changing programs as i am finding the current layer limit too restrictive to work the way I need.

Next week Monday and Tuesday I plan on just working on colouring pages 1-4 and maybe even completing some of them if I am able to. Then I will return to sketching, inking pages 5 to 9. Trying to keep it interesting by rotating the jobs. 

Overall I would say the test comic continues to do it’s job by teaching me hard lessons. When it is completed I am going to have to spend a long period of time on character design, scriptwriting, storyboarding and world building. It is painfully obvious I do not yet have enough info to flesh out anything beyond this mini comic. Still every little bit that gets added to the world brings into more sharply into focus and I hope that I will be able to share more of it asap with you.
