Update #9 is here and of course, it won't be able to match up with the sheer word size of the last one. But that doesn't mean that it's no a fun one!

We're coming up to the end of day two by now, and to wane out that day, we'll have you as the player get the choice of how to spend the evening. Throughout the day you'll have had characters suggesting or inviting you for things, and this is basically one of the points where we'll let you pursue one of those promises/invitations/etc.
It'll be a case where you won't ever get to go through all of these in one playthrough. Some might be tied to this one evening, others might re-occur later on, and we just figured it'd be a fun little idea to make good on some of these smaller suggestions.

This update contains the first one of these for the Julian fans among you. If you've been nice to him and had some specific dice game outcomes, he would have invited you to visit him in the evening. There are some other situations where it happens, but the easiest and most consistent way is probably when you win the bet and ask Julian about how lizards look below the waist. If you get along with him well enough at that point, he'll bring up the evening meetup.

And this update is that particular scene!

While this means that for everyone else there isn't anything new in here, I do encourage you all to have a peek at the beginning of the game! The part up to the dinner choice of the first day has received an overhaul and those changes will slowly but surely spread to the other parts of the game as well.

But yes, this update is actually one of the reasons why we're switching to the 2 month release schedule going forward. Just to try and avoid these situations where only one very specific optional path gets worked on. Or well, it's not entirely avoidable, but at least add more stuff to each individual update to make it less likely.
Some scenes just take more effort, this one is a decent chunk of writing with different variations depending on past choices, you got the art for it as well which always takes a long time.
We want the hot scenes to be hot after all, right? With everything that goes along with it, this is a bit of an outlier and required some art and a long scene treatment, meaning the others shouldn't require quite so much work committed to them.

But yeah, just be aware that the new parts of this update is only available under those specific circumstances. So if you want to go for it, just be nice to Julian, smack him here and there, and then  , I suppose re-roll the dice outcomes until you get the desired outcome. There is one instance where he invites you before the dice game as well, but that is an even more specific scenario that I don't even remember the exact line of events needed to trigger it, that's how niche it is.

I hope all your lizard appreciators enjoy the scene though! Rubric's written it, so it is an absolute treat! Also, some of the variations in it are just really fun given that in some constellations Julian leaves the dice scene entirely unable to talk.

Fingers crossed you'll enjoy it, and of course as always thank you very very much for the support! It wouldn't be possible without all of you and I can't thank you enough. :)

Hi i seemed to have encountered a bug where as you go to name your character the app closes im on android

Nomax

Hmmm, odd, tried it several times just now and never had any problems and it's the first time I've heard of anyone having trouble with it. So I've no idea what it might be as it doesn't replicate on my end. Does it throw up any error message or anything like that? Alternatively, all it does in that scene is basically start a text input, summoning the on-screen keyboard. So idk maybe the on-screen keyboard on your phone causes crashes? But I'm basically just throwing stuff against the wall as I can't replicate it and it doesn't appear to happen to anyone else so far, so the current assumption would be that it's something with your phone causing the issue rather than the game.
