Conway v2 public release preview (Patreon)

With the public release of v2 of the game coming up, one of the most fun new bits is the new art in it! At long last there are some actually finished character portraits in it! And some additional expressions too. Rajeeyah doesn't quite have them yet as I just didn't manage to finish hers ahead of the deadline, but hey, at least she isn't that old black and white drawing from 10 years ago anymore!

She actually is the oldest character of the bunch, not like age but when she was first conceptualized. Even before Nomax himself! And she absolutely was the character that never got enough attention from me because as a professional artist, you rarely have free time in which you just want to draw EVEN MORE. Or at least I do. Others certainly still sit down for more art, but i just need some time away from it as well.

But yeah, she started out as a navigator way back then, but changed her up to be the surgeon of the ship here. Mostly because it felt a bit more natural for many of the other characters to interact with her that way. With the rather strict hierarchy that was common back then it felt like the other one would be a bit too restrictive. Already fearing a little on how i want to handle Arthur's interaction exactly because of that. Gonna be a toughie, but we'll see!

Of course many of you already had the chance to play it in the 5+ tiers, but I hope those of you that didn't get to yet will enjoy the new update once it comes your way on the first of may!
