Hey everyone.
I've picked up my watercolours again after not having touched them for half a year or more (no wonder i keep complaining about not being happy with what i produce with them) and so i figured let's try to give them their own thing.
Usually i just plopped them into the bi-monthly packs, but maybe giving them their own little corner will be fun. So Watercolour Wednesday it is!

This will probably be a fortnightly thing or something where i just plop down the watercolours i made. However many or little it may be, and of course there is always the option that i just have a quiet period with them again. So yeah, hope you enjoy them even if it isn't my typical thing, it probably won't be very furry themed either as i'm still mostly doing studies of other works but it is something i produce as an artist and so it feels right to let you partake in that as well.
After all, it is you all, and the monetary buffer that your support brings each month that helps me not to feel too bad about doing something outside of just commissions to earn money.

Using negative space like the top-right alligator picture is always so cool to me. I love it.

Yeah, it's something i should get better at with my regular art as well. Especially in the watercolours of Sargent he uses negative space A TON. The figures are so often kept super simple and barely defined while the background does all the work to put them into context.

Ooooh sick Watercolor is such a nice unique medium<3 My fave piece I've done personally was with watercolors but it's still a beast of its own hhgh

Watercolours! If you ever become known as an expert in them then we can say that we were there at the beginning

Yeah, it really is but that's why i want to learn it. It's a fun (sometimes) challange, and all the other paints just feel too much like what i already do anyway. But yeah, it's super difficult as it's really painting with time more than anything else. Good to hear that you had some success with it too! :D

I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of them!

Good! I'm really happy with the reception here. So certainly feels like they deserved their own little spot rather than just being buried in the packs :)
