This time i managed to actually finish two images on the same day, and not like usual where i feel i finish one, upload it, and then a day later finish another thing. So hey, efficiency and only one post floating into your inbox!

The first one is another Jungle study. I mentioned earlier that i had quite a bit of fun with last month's more extensive patreon painting and so this is the one for this month. This one was a bit rougher to get to a state where i was happy with but continuing on with some exploration of how little i can get away to still get a coherent picture. That plus with the temple picture from a few weeks ago i still had a bit of an open dispute with the theme of wading through water, so i wanted to tackle that too. Not sure if that dispute is fully solved yet, but hey, one step at a time.

And then the other one is a sketch idea i had floating around for quite a bit but just never managed to actually put it down. Until now.
I mean the female version of Nomax isn't gonna be canon or even be present in pictures anytime soon, but it's fun that i was able to finally play around with that thought at long last.

So yeah, hope you enjoy them both and have a wonderful day.

2023-06-09 11:31:46 From my time watching old Tarzan shows as a kid, I know that there's an 85% chance that Nomax will stumble into quicksand. And a 45% chance of giant serpents. Gotta be careful in those jungles! =V Absolutely beautiful art as always! <3

Nomax

maybe the giant serpents just want to cuddle, that could be pretty cozy!

Love the jungle study, I always enjoy seeing what compositions you come up with!

I'm glad to hear. yeah composition is weird. Like of course i think about it and where i want the focal point and all that jazz, but in the end so much is just playing around and going "is this better than before?" and then either going that direction or not.
