The future of the Community Vote Sketch (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

so, today would have been the day where i put up the next sketch suggestions up for a vote, but the trend i've been noticing is that there aren't too many suggestions coming in, and it's A) not seldom that more Nomax art is being tossed in as a suggestion and B) if Nomax art is up for a vote it tends to win the vote as well.

We've had a decent run with these sketches but it seems like they may have run their course with the community suggestions for the moment? What would you think if we'd switch it over to it simply being a Nomax sketch funded by patreon if that seems to be consensus of the vote pretty often anyway?

I mean i quite like drawing him after all, and don't nearly get enough time to do so so i certainly wouldn't complain.
What are your thoughts on that?

I gave a bunch then held off because I didn’t want to domineer the whole thing. If you’d like more I can certainly oblige.

i dont see a reason why not. i always forget to suggest lol. seeing more Nomax is good with me

All for more Nomax art! But I also love the variety in what you produce. How about keep the suggestions coming in until you get a full house then pick one, pick several or poll. The rest of the time is Nomax time. Either way, I love what you do!

Yeah that's probably the solution i'll go with. More options are always good after all, so we're not closing down the voting entirely but also got an option for a slow month or two. :)

Hah, yeah always feel free to. I think i'll go with the suggestion mentioned below with either a vote or just some private art if it's a slow month with suggestions. So you're always free to chuck them in still.

Oh, I've just joined, but like the idea of a community vote. Would it be feasible to alternate months so that one month has three choices but no Nomax and the other month has Nomax?

Yeah, it always depends a bit on the votes available, currently even though we have plenty, a lot of them involve Nomax. But yeah splitting them up entirely between months if possible is a good idea! I'll keep it in mind for next time around :)
