the science of the program only responds to female DNA making gene mod male agents impossible. but both gene mod and un-modded agents work together side by side, united in their common goal for the safety and prosperity of their city.

the program is only offered to an agent after training is completed; the agent must undergo the harshest training regiment of SPEAR before being given the opportunity for modification. this ensures the applicant is 100% committed to their team, their city, and their goal. to the "uninitiated", the mod makes them appear superhuman above all. but a gene mod agent looks upon her transformation as simply another tool in her arsenal to protect and serve.
