Monday: It Needs To Start Somewhere (Patreon)

Look What The Cat Drug In
I’m not trying to brag, but I’m really good at sleeping. Not so much the waking up part, though.
The Storylines are the heart of Ailana Geven Imagines, and they are found in the Collections section of the site. Here are some of the most popular:

Today’s diary is called “It Needs To Start Somewhere” and if you have been reading me for the last month or more, you know what I’m about to say. You don’t have to be a globe-trotting digital creator to step up (from time to time) and help out. What would happen if you and 10% of the people you know gave 1 Saturday afternoon to go help a local agency that needs volunteers?
Let’s do some math! The Wall Street Journal says that the average person knows 472 people. (Google it.) So if you take 10% of that, it's you and 47 other people. And if you do a little more than 2 hours of volunteer work, that’s over 100 hours.
So the math is good. I am not naive enough to think that it WILL happen. But what if it did? Or what if you and your 2 best friends did something?
Back to the title: It needs to start somewhere.
I’m losing followers on Instagram every day, now. Fewer than I am getting new followers, but I'm losing like 10 to 15 daily.
I think people are tired of me ranting about helping others. I dunno… I feel like, if I’m gonna show up here every day I need to do something besides let you watch me take a shower. If I’m going to call myself a digital influencer, shouldn’t I be trying to do something good?
Wonder how many followers I just lost?
If you are still reading, thank you.
I hope my pictures, stories, and ideas entertain you, and perhaps, give you something to think about—or even talk about to others!
(How would that go, anyway? “Hey Bob, I know this imaginary girl, and she says…” Yeah… that would be weird.)
Banging Stuff
Watch out! They gave me tools again!
Sasha and I are at a Humanitarian Housing jobsite again today. We’ll play later, but for now we are getting some work done.
As I’ve said over the last month, agencies like HH help working people who have limited resources get or maintain housing. Anyone who owns a home knows its constant work to keep it up.
Imagine facing that if your income barely paid for utilities and food? HH steps in when volunteers are available to help close the gap.
Sasha got roofing duty again.
She has turned out to be a handy helper for roofing work. She can drive a nail straight and she’s nimble on the pitches and ladders.
And… Well, I think the male workers… appreciate her… helping them.
What do you think? Would she make a good helper for your next handy-man project?
~~
Well… thanks for reading! After this morning’s diary entry, I’m grateful you stuck with me!
I’ll try to have some fun later. Hope you’ll join me!
Goodnight From Miami Monday
Monday has come to an end, so I guess it’s time for me to model some lingerie for you. Please… if this is getting old, let me know. Or if you like my nightie goodnights, let me know.
The work today went well, and Sasha and I had some fun late in the afternoon and early evening. We don’t have a firm plan for tomorrow, yet.
You’ll just have to check back to find out what we do!
Goodnight.
