Finallyyy Sean, what a great reaction, I totally felt you throughout it! Hongjoong’s power and presence, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, Wooyoung’s rap, Jongho’s rap and then high notes and his harmonization with San at the end, San’s growl and facial expressions.. Everyone’s center, dancing, singing, facials and presence! THEY ALL DID AMAZING. They just proved that positions are nothing for them, all of them did everything😩 Thank you for this reaction, your cat is adorable btw🙆🏻‍♀️ Nice intro and outro too hehe

Oh btw this was a special episode where all who won Immortal songs this year were in it and competed, Ateez won one round, they did really well regardless. It was such a big deal! And Mingi was missed though, really):

Hey Sean! Tbh I wasn’t really feeling this performance (and still don’t tbh although I can certainly appreciate certain aspects of it which I’ll get into the more I get into your reaction). Also yeap it is live but for whatever reason they (as in the producers/editors of the show) used a lot more pitch correction with this performance than they did with Black Cat Nero which I don’t get. I think it’s part of the reason why it took me out of the performance a bit I guess. For starters, I definitely appreciated Yunho’s parts. He really got to shine and showcase a lot of his skills in this performance (I loved the beginning part where it was just him and the dancers), and I can’t believe we got to see and hear him rap lol and he honestly still has one of my absolute favorite voices of the group so I was happy to see him shine in his solo part. I LOVED the raspy, growling way that San did his part with the megaphone with. I’ve always known he had grit to his voice but it was nice seeing it displayed in the way it was. THE DANCE BREAK WAS ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY omfg I still can’t deal with the way that they did that but they nailed it. The part where Seonghwa is rapping and doing the groove he’s doing while Jongho’s singing his high note (time stamp 5:12 in your video) is honestly my absolute favorite part. I’ve always loved Seonghwa’s flow and he absolutely nailed it there and combining that with Jongho’s high note was a brilliant arrangement idea. Going back to what I said at the beginning, I guess the overall vibe of it just wasn’t my cup of tea (which I’m surprised by because I’m a big rock fan and there were a lot of vibes in there), but I can tell that they put their all into this performance and it shows and I definitely appreciate that a whole lot. I hope nobody judges me for anything that I said tbh 😂 because even though it wasn’t my cup of tea, like I said there were things I liked and appreciated and I still love them a whole lot cause they are my ultimate group lol Thank you for another awesome reaction Sean! It was fun to see you fanboy and honestly I don’t blame you, especially with the second half of the performance. 🤣

No judgement here! I appreciate you sharing your honest thoughts! I must've not noticed the pitch correction stuff but I know it is used a lot to give viewers the best quality but sometimes I just wanna hear them like i would in a concert :p but yeah I'm still super impressed and I'm a fan of that old school style!
