I would say that Oikawa is the first proper antagonist(?). He’s definitely more “sinister” but he’s what you would call a likeable bad guy. Not necessarily evil but definitely a little mean-spirited. He’s obnoxious at times but has the skills to back it up. And he clearly loves volleyball and his teammates respect and trust him as a captain and setter so he must be doing something right. Most of the time it’s like you want to hate him but you don’t actually hate him. He’s a very complex and interesting character and can’t wait until we get to some of those back stories. —— No, I don’t think Kageyama’s va is the one who voices sasuke. But fun fact the va of Takeda, the faculty advisor, is the same as Levi from AOT. —— You know it’s a good fake out when even your teammates aren’t expecting it. And I don’t think Oikawa calling Kageyama a stupid little brat is that surprising considering he’s declared he specifically wants to crush Kageyama. But it is a pretty stark difference when he’s saying it with a more serious tone compared to his usual playful one. And I mean Kageyama did just word for word mock him. But seriously, Kageyama hates losing that much. Things are definitely getting more heated in this match.
