Both bigbang and shinee are amazing groups. They have a lot of catchy songs and performances you can check out Shinee was originally a 5 member group - Jonghyun, Taemin, Minho, Onew and Key. However Jonghyun passed away in 2017. Minho has worked in a lot of kdramas and movies. Taemin, Onew and Key also have a lot of solo content. I am a little biased towards their group content, specially when they go for variety shows and interviews, its fun to watch them together.

Taemin actually debuted when he was 14 (roughly 2 months before turning 15). He says 16 in this video because he is using the old Korean age system still. Even though it has been phased out officially by the SK government, a lot of older people still use the old age counting system. SHINee and BTS have had many interactions before going back at least as far as 2015-2016 that I can remember off the top of my head. The members in each group are very respectful with each other and there are a bunch of compilation videos of BTSHINee interactions on youtube that you guys can watch. Of course you know that V and Minho were in a drama together, plus Taemin and Jimin are very close friends. Shawols and Armys aren't rivals too much. There are flare ups as with any fandom online, especially on twitter. However, most toxic fights usually happen because of solo stans of a member from either group. Most of the fans from both groups don't care about that kind of stuff. Most people who like kpop listen to multiple groups and don't care about twitter beef. But it can get real out of pocket, real fast when the toxic part of a fandom finds a video or post. The company rivalry stuff is mostly pushed by the really toxic "company stans" or to support some business venture by the execs in the boardrooms. The actual artists and regular working staff rarely care about that stuff. Intercompany relationships, friendships, and collaborations are very common and have been for many years. It wasn't always that easy but it was certainly prevalent by late 2nd and early 3rd gen. This is not to say that things can't be messy between idols but not any differently than how they would be with regular people's friendships. A lot of times idols will train together at one company but become idols under different companies. They sometimes maintain their friendships even after the other person goes to another company. Kai from EXO, Taemin from SHINee, and Timoteo from HOTSHOT for example are all best friends because they trained together at SM trainee camp but Timoteo went to another company for his debut. Dara from 2NE1 (YG) and Thunder from MBLAQ (JTune Camp, a subsidiary of JYP) are two siblings that debuted under two different companies. (I'm mostly a fan of 2nd Gen idols/groups so most of my references will be 2nd Gen. lmfao) Show business is a small world so they all get to know each other to various degrees and there are many interactions and shows together.

Oh, I almost forgot! Onew was not active when they filmed that peaches-in-bed content. He has actually been on a hiatus since early this year for his health. We don't know the cause as he and SM did not want to release private info. He wasn't involved with this year's promotions after filming the early parts of the "HARD" music video for SHINee's 15th anniversary album. We are hopeful that he will be back to being active next year although we don't have an official return date. Just yesterday, though, Onew was at a yoga event and allowed the fans there to take pictures and video of him to post online. He was looking much better so we're all rooting for his full recovery soon. lolol Taemin and Jimin are the same height but they were wearing big, clogger shoes from different brands so their heights were varied in that shot. Also they were both leaning their heads for the picture. There's a funny full length picture of all 3 and their shoes are so funny next to each other.
