In Thailand, you have your official “government name”, but also when you are born you’re given a “nickname” by your parents, like Manow (lemon), Earth, Gemini, Talay (sea) etc. This nickname is the name you use with friends, family etc. I’ve been loving your rections to this show. Starting Thai BLs is a rabbit hole, there is just so many great shows. Also a little info about Thai BLs, the couples are “ship couples” meaning if they get a good reaction they will be in multiple series together, and they do all sorts of things together, like fan meets and concerts. Thailand really concentrates on the actors building natural chemistry with each other. BL is an entire industry in Thailand. I hope you enjoy the show and continue on the Thai BL journey. Kinn Porsche does have some pretty intense love scenes, but I definitely think the action scenes are where it shines. 💜

Ok, - Pran liked Pat back then and then came the new girl > Pat was interested in the girl, hence the sad look on Pran's face > Girl appears again and Pran now thinks Pat is still interested in her, hence the sad face everytime he's seeing them together. Sorry, I'm not so good at summaries ;P

And this is where the rollercoaster ride begins. Buckle in boys! 🥲 Also to note, in Thailand there is this way of kissing/showing affection called a “Sniff Kiss”. I , like many ppl watching Thai shows for the first time, was so confused by it. But based on what I’ve read, it’s a way of showing affection that is sometimes seen as more “loving” than an actual kiss. Whether it’s done to your partner, parents, close friends etc. You will be seeing a lot of this moving forward so just a heads up 😊

Yes i was gonna say this. So every character in the show is being called by their “nickname”. So in the last comment section, someone mentioned the actor who plays Korn nickname, which is “Drake” but his government name is the one you read off the internet. The actor playing Pat nickname is “Ohm” and the one playing Pran is “Nanon”. This nickname is what they use to form their ship name as well which is “OhmNanon”.

Yes, Korn is his name in the series but Drake is the actor's name. Thai people have long names so they usually go by an official nic name, which are often English words. You may have noticed this with idols like bambam before. Bam bam is his name but his full name is Kunpimook Bhuwakul. Their official name is used in more formal situations like when the professor told pran off for using his phone she called him "parakul," His official name.

I've travelled to Thailand twice in a little over a year because of my love for this cast. 😆 Never filmed with them (I wish!), only visited locations where the series was filmed. The dorms are hotel rooms IRL. There's another room from future episodes I also stayed in. I actually celebrated my birthday there this year. Loved feeling so close to the characters I dearly miss. ❤️ I got to sit next to Nanon after their very first fan meeting last year. He's my fave actor of all time. I love the way his micro expressions can make you feel so much for the characters he plays. Like when he teared up in the last scene of this episode. But, Pat is my fave character. A walking, breathing green flag. I love his goofy personality and big heart. 😍 Soo looking forward to next week's reaction!

Dunk Sighting! I lied to you guys whoops! he's one of the guys in the band in high school with Pat and Pran. Don't worry you guys, once you've watched more GMMTV shows you'll catch all these actors that you know from other stuff and its like fun lil cameos! I'm super excited for you guys to really delve into the BL world, get to know some of my personal favorite actors and shows. When those shows and actors come along I'll let you know! I love Ink in this show, such a great character! What I meant by some shows not just being BL, but being queer; its just in the way these chracters are all written, and being portrayed, in the way there are other identities other than just gay, and it is accurate portrayals and not just the tropes and plotlines of normal BLs (I do really like BLs like that too dont worry). Here are some BL dramas that to me and I think to a lot of other viewers are more queer than just BL: Only Friends (thai), The Eighth Sense (korean), The Warp Effect (not technically a BL, but very queer anyways), I Told Sunset About You & its sequel I Promised You the Moon (thai), To My Star (korean), Plus and Minus (taiwanese). Those are just the ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Others will probably know some more that I either haven't watched or didn't remember when i wrote this. I need some more good ones, and so do these guys so please if I forgot any put them in the replies I could always watch more. p.s. sorry bout this long ass comment and btw, my last name is italian so you don't have to do anything with the L's haha, I've noticed it a couple times and its kinda funny but wanted to let you guys know!

What I find super interesting is there are some of these actors who have like, American names, ex: Mark, Jimmy, Drake. And some just have to me as an American random words, ex: Fourth, Sea, First. Just something I find different. It was an adjustment when I started learning that that is a part of Thai culture. Fun facts!

Ah it is always nice to watch this after getting home from work. Episode 4 is definitely one of my favourites and it really made me love Nanon (who plays Pran) as an actor. Especially that last scene. His eyes are his strong suit in acting and he conveys feelings so so well in my opinon. He is also such a pretty crier haha now let me stop my Nanon fangirling here. To act so subtly hurt is really not easy and he did it so so well. Now when I first watched this show when it was airing - I was furious with Pat for being this oblivious and (unknowingly) hurting Pran. Like dude - first you ask him if he would like you if he was someone else then Pat continues to list all the things he did for Pran to ask him if he would like him like come on! Read the signs that Pran has been in love with you since high school please! Oh and you're right they don't really pronounce the R. By the way they released little behind the scenes clips every week for the episodes I wanted to ask if you would be interested in watching them as well maybe after you've finished that show? They also have another behind the scenes video they released with the boxset that really shows the chemistry between the male leads if you are interested haha. Anyways I really enjoyed this reaction guys!

I felt it on a spiritual level when you realized you were on the wrong part. I've done that so many times 🤣. I've also cued up the parts in the wrong order before and gone all the way threw the third part before even watching the second part. It happens to the best of us.

Heya! I hope ya'll had a good week and I really appreciate your concerns and condolences. Just gotta take it a day at a time, I'm going to be okay. :) And I'm with ya'll on rooting for WaiKorn. I'm such a slut for enemies to lovers tropes, so I was definitely a Wai/Korn shipper lmao and with the whole Pat/Pran situation when I first watched this series I definitely thought that Pat was crushing hard on Pran since way back when they were kids. But I guess I'm terrible at reading signs too lol Can't wait to get deeper into the story, the tension really starts to build then as were really getting into the thick of the drama. Excited for your reactions to the next two episodes in particular as it kind of hits a peak and we get more of the "hit you right in the feels" kind of scenes.

Thanks for the reaction. Episode 5 is actually one of my favorite episodes in the whole series so I'm really looking forward to next week! There is one scene in particular with Pran Pat & Wai that I really love. Ohm(Pat) does such a good job conveying Pat's emotions imo. Also I saw someone recommended Only Friends. By the time you read this comment the show will be finished airing. I just want to say that for me personally this show has had me in a chokehold for the past 12 weeks since it started airing. I find it so unique in that there is not one character in the show that is without their flaws. Even one of the characters that seems like the better person does 1 or 2 shady things. I would be very interested in seeing your reaction to it as most people I've seen have strong opinions on the morals of each character lol It's fascinating to see what people find the most "unforgivable" thing for a person to do as far as relationships go. Also I know people keep saying it but the Untamed is so good. When I watched it I think part of the reason I grew very attached to the characters is because the Untamed feels like such a complete story to me. It's not just about the relationship between the two protagonists. It is very important don't get me wrong but there is so much more to the story. It deals with familial bonds, pride, what is good, what is evil, betrayal and so much more. Another thing I love is that actions of the characters aren't without consequence. And the consequences aren't little things either. I'll stop here lol I think this comment is long enough! Keep up the good work^^

I love Nanon’s (Pran) acting so much here omg! He is one of my favorite actors ever and it was really that last scene in this episode that did it. I remember I cried lol. So looking forward to the next episode!

It always lifts up my mood😊 I would also HIGHLY recommend to watch Manner of Death, its incredibly criminally underrated Thai BL, with a great storyline and crime solving and great actors! Also The Eclipse and Not Me are also top-notch bls with an amazing messages. While Only Friends, its great if u love unhinged drama 😆
