I actually really hate this episode and love at the same time. I LOVE their stages but HATE the edits. Especially for Say My Name team.. They were soooo focused to Matthew’s emotional drama so others barely got screentimes. Seungeon amazing vocalist, Yujin wrote a line for his rap part+killing part, Hanbin being the leader, Jiwoong trying new concept.. They didn’t even highlight their talents, and just choose to show us their conflict dramatically. Even the stage, the edit was just..🤦🏻‍♀️ I know other teams also get these stupid edits🥹 but since I really loved this Say My Name team… this episode was really hard to watch…

Just wanted to answer this question because I noticed the tape on Ricky’s neck too. It is a tattoo that reads role model. Quite a few of the trainees are actually tattooed. I think you could see something on Matthews shoulder blade in this episode. If I’m not mistaken Sung Han Bin has a tattoo on his biceps and one on his collar bone. Jiwoong has at least one tattoo on his ankle. Jongwoo actually has almost a sleeve on his left lower arm (is that the right phrase? Idk?). That’s all I know. I feel like tattoos are getting more popular in SK even though the situation is kinda iffy since you have to be a licensed medical practitioner to open a tattoo parlour and the army actually prohibits tattoos. Don’t think that is enforced though. Wumuti has honestly gotten more screen time since his elimination. Someone make it make sense. 🤦🏼‍♀️ He also has a tattoo. It’s his birth name Umut in braille. It means hope in Uyghur.

Though my favorite song to come out of this mission is SuperCharger, my fav performance this round is probably switch. The others were great too, but there's just something about the stage design and the costumes that make it more captivating to me. Though the others were great, after about half of the performance, it started to blur because everything looked so similar costume and setting wise, with maybe an exception for say my name The musical mission is probably my fav interlude they've had so far in the show that you guys have seen, I'm kinda sad we didnt get to see more of it. I'd have love to have seen Kuan Jui's all star performance, as well as Ricky and Ollie's seeing as they got no star but still felt they had the right to laugh at the others (this is a joke, I love both Ollie and Rizzy.) The way Jiwoong and Junhyeon have both debuted as actors but one failed to memorize his lines and the other couldnt keep his laughter in never fails to kill me, and I'm also really sad we didn't get to see more of their friendship in the show Jeonghyeon has been a real dark horse for me, like he's insanely talented but it feels like he's just been slipping under the radar a lot. Like he did great in all his performances, but there's always been someone somewhat overshadowing him, so I'm quite gladwe're getting to see more of him now that there are less people to focus on Fun fact 1; S. Hanbin helped Zhang Hao with the tutting part for the dance break in over me Fun fact 2; Jiwoong is actually meant to be a vocalist, but has been taking rap positions in the missions because the other members in his teams couldnt/didnt want to ps. love how you guys (esp David cause he's the one that said both of these things) went from "Jay's got star quality.... idk about Kam tho" in the first episode, to "Kamden's gotta be in the debut group, that voice dude" here lol

Seung Yoon

To me my top picks always being sung hanbin, zhang hao, Matthew, Keita, jongwoo (the guy who did back door with his tiger eyes). Hanbin has always given good performances. Ever since his audition and his tutting and whacking. Which is rare to see in kpop especially by men. And his battle with lip j was iconic. And he just sticks out for me. He also has an extensive dance background he was a backdancer for BTS and wanna one https://youtu.be/UipEztocIFA (it’s on mma so pretty big) Also his mother performance just immediately after watching it I knew his my absolute bias https://youtu.be/OIjQjA22Mko (It’s short check it out he is crazy for this) His personality is also so nice and his chemistry with zhang hao is so cute. And he is a an all rounder he can sing and dance. . Zhang hao is just so talented he is a prodigy. He already speaks Korean so well. And he can sing so beautifully and dance. And he is so nice and warm as a leader. I love how self aware of his weakness he is. He was being too nice trying to make everyone in his team feel included it ended up clashing. But he understood his mistakes and took Responsibility . Very mature. Keita by far best rapper in this show (obviously as he is yg ex-trainee) Jeongwoo is underrated but his so good. I love how firm has leader when that one dude behaved selfishly but he immediately told him in his face that I cannot be done . English is not my first language so excuse me i. I also love Matthew because he is just so easy to love. Something very endearing about him.

I actually learned a little more about this recently. Apparently, back in the day when tattoos weren't as popular in SK, the competition between tattoo artists was so crazy that some tattoo artists would report other ones to the police. I'm glad it's not as intense now lol.

This ep went by really fast for me. It's kinda sad that they didn't show the full performances for the musical challenge bc it seemed really fun. It's also kinda weird for me bc one of my friends showed me moments of Zhang Hao and Hanbin and Matt and Jiwoong and now I can't get them out of my head. Like I don't really ship idols like that but the chemistry between those two duos is def there and watching this ep made me keep analyzing their interactions lmao. On a sad/mad note, I can't believe Jay got 5th out of his group. He vocally carried the song with his high notes and ad-libs. Anyway, as always I can't wait to watch the next ep with you!

The way they were scolding the Over Me team for their vocals while dancing is insane to me because the choreography literally has them whipping their head around in a circle which in the process closes your vocal chords and they have to hit a falsetto?? at least help them adjust the choreography to their singing or vice versa instead of being like "are you going to sing like this in the recording?" like obviously not since they're not whipping their head around. It's hard to even speak when your neck is stretched out, it's obvious that the choreography didn't consider the fact that they had to sing while doing the dance. Regardless, they performed so well I think out of all the songs it was probably on of the hardest to sing while dancing because of the falsettos and the breath support you need for them. (also the floor work for the choreography? I could never) I don't know why the show didn't show it, but Ricky is a really good vocalist and dancer but every single edit he's had is him making mistakes?? he hasn't had good luck with his teammates either in the previous missions, but I just can't figure out what kind of narrative mnet was trying to give him. Other than the "he's very cool and cold" when the other yuehua trainees call him "lovelicky" because their company staff nicknamed him "lovely ricky" and he just has a very sweet personality. He's still a very cool person, but they made him look so unfriendly when he's just shy and the eliminated trainees talked about how nice he is and that he always has snacks lol. Anyway imma get back to your reaction because I have like 30 minutes left, before I got a bit annoyed lol.

Cinnamon Girl

I'm glad you guys already got to this episode! Finally, no more matthew evil edit. No, but really, those weeks were literal hell to us Matthew stans bc mnet wouldn't let go of this supposed fight or conflict when if u really think abt it, they solved it pretty fast. Like, he was sad, he cried, then they talked abt it and it was all good, he did really well and even got praised. But mnet made it look like a whole telenovela for three episodes straight T.T so annoying. Anyways, we're getting closer to the finale, I'm so excited and I hope even after the show you guys will keep reacting to the debut team.

I think that Sung Hanbin has tattoos on his chest and one on his upper arm, Matthew I think has 2 one on his arm and one on his back/shoulder, Ricky has the neck tattoo (probably the most obvious due to the bandage he's always wearing, but I find it funny that he's 18 and already has a tattoo on his neck of all places lol), Jiwoong I think has one on his leg. (to clarify I'm nawt looking and zooming into their bodies for this information 😭 I've only seen the tattoos because they've shown it or they caught my eye because they're obvious and weren't taped)

Milana Smile

jay getting last place was soo unfair, his voice and his adlibs were beautiful, i rewatched his parts so many times 😅 and i felt so sorry for jongwoo and keita for getting kicked out from the winning song and than getting last place in the song battle. and yes, the viewers voted for the song they liked, everyone knew from the beginning that say my name, en garde or over me would win because these were the most popular songs, no matter how they would have been performed. but every performance was great and everyone did really well. I‘m still proud of the supercharger team, they didn‘t have a lot of high ranked trainees and it was a difficult song. really enjoy your reaction as always!

Lol I wrote so much you guys forgot to answer the question. Who are your current picks? At least top 3. Apparently it's very common for the sexy concepts to always win in the end. But I couldn't help but think to myself "only in korea" cause most places they wouldn't have won. Especially if it was a global vote. I think say my name or en garde should have won(this one is more personal...but maybe Switch ). The En garde and Say my name stages sound like a whole studio verson. Were the lipsyncing? If not then they definitely should have won especially En garde since they had a tough choreo on top of that. I'm happy for over me team though, a lot of members that deserved to go to mcountdown, but haven't yet were in that group. For that reason I'm not salty. About the performance I think it's cool how Hao arranged the choreo when Chen Kuan Juiiiii was scared of his lack of screen time on stage. Maving an awesome duo section together! And Mannn If I Was Kuan Jui And Could Break My Back Like that! Rather I make it to the group or Not, I'm not Worried! Lastly I want justice for Lee Seunghwan and Lee Jeong Hyeon aka pretty boy number 1 and 2. Lee Seunghwan is Seventeen Seungkwan's favorite I bet you can guess why lol. He's the one that sang the high note in en garde instead of Hwi. I was like "Who Is That!?!" Jeong Hyeon created a whole rap for Over me. I'm so mad at Myself and Mnet. Why are two all rounders just now being shown! I thought Seunghwan was a new contestant! I also would have preferred to see more of how Jeong Hyeon came up with his rap, then the whole Matthew drama. We completly understood last episode he's a Mommy's Boy. Mnet! *Cue Cardi's meme* "What Was The Reason!!!"

coco.mg

The reason why Ricky already has a tatoo is because he's "Boss Baby Ricky!" The movie was his Documentary! He said "Young and Rich" He prob goes to sleep in Louis like Chenle does with Gucci. He also sang 2pm, My HOuse. I Wouldn't Be serprized If he actually Does have a house! "Boss Baby!"

Misz

Jay 😢 But ZhangHao though.. He really reap all the good karma. He's been so kind and considerate.. He's the only one who got killing part but share many screentime with other members. He modified many choreos so other members could be in center more often.. He also share his killing part choreo with kuanjui

Misz

(cont) Zhanghao gets perfect all-kill so far.. With highest point in all missions. Leejonghyun also deserves better
