The way you guys rolled at the "How could they scam a victim of a con artist" line...Made me laugh harder. One of the things that I've been a bit disappointed about with the platform you've been watching True Beauty on is the difference in translation from the one on Viki. So sometimes I feel as though things aren't as clear as they should be. This would include tongue-in-cheek jokes, like this one. Though I have seen where I liked the translation on certain lines better on this one too, so I guess it just comes down to preference. Again, in case you didn't read the comments on last week's post on your own, we go Cha Eunwoo's OST this episode! So little story...I got into Kdramas about six months into the pandemic but not really into K-pop. I had heard of BTS, but only listened to Dynamite once...just to see what the hype was about, thought they were okay but my curiosity ended there with both them and KPOP. I had watched enough dramas to know that it's common for K-pop idols to act, but none had piqued my interest enough to actually listen to them. I even watched a web drama that starred a lot of the EXO members (EXO Next Door) and that didn't get me to listen to any of their stuff. Fast forward to the ending of True Beauty and me looking up the three main leads to see what else they were in and if I was interested in any of their other stuff, and to my SUPRISE Hwang In-youp was NOT an idol! But Cha Eunwoo WAS!?!?! I couldn't imagine what he would be like as an idol so out of curiosity I looked up Astro and......that is how my K-pop journey started. This show, Cha Eunwoo and ASTRO (BTW, he is not my bias) but since they hold a special place in my heart and are VASTLEY under-rated, I will promote them whenever possible. Storytime over...Thank you!

Hilariously, the same thing had happened to my best friend lol. She started watching k-dramas before even diving into k-pop and she saw Cha Eunwoo in one of his other dramas and just fell down the rabbit hole, she hasn’t looked back since.

I’m glad you’re loving the drama, it’s really funny, I read the comic before the drama so not everything is exactly the same and has a bit of differences to it, but I actually had stopped reading the comic because the series was still ongoing. I have to say though, now that Soojin knows that her friend is with Suho…whatever will she do??? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
