Same. I'm still stuck at 2019. Ode to you album is really one of the best albums they've put out. Really beating myself up for not going back to listening to K-pop when Seventeen debuted. I was stuck in the 2nd gen idols and very skeptical to listening to 3rd gen. I've wasted lot of years. 😞 Anyways. - 247. Best Performance unit song for me. - Back it up live hits so hard. S.coups is insane! The8 is a variety goldmine. I was pleasantly surprised by him doing these youtube variety shows and shining. They should cast him more. He is so honest, realistic, and wise. Sooo refreshing. But then again, being like this frank can cause misunderstanding as he had a minor backlash with his comment regarding losing weight and not eating. As always thank you for the video. Very fun video, guys. 😁

I really recommend the Ode To You concert for you guys to watch, the setlist for that is a chef's kiss too! Ode To You was their tour that was cancelled because of the pandemic and that was when S.Coups took a hiatus because he was experiencing psychological anxiety. Oh, I also recommend you guys to watch their tour documentary series "Hit The Road": https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk_UmMfvZDx2IVSjmEwo4Q7o-GlEZODFa. It's when it was disclosed of his S.Coups hiatus and other members' pov.

FYI they have already watched 'Hit The Road'

(Sorry this one's going to be long😅) Yey you got back to AN ODE! The full album that gave Seventeen their very first Album of the Year award🥹 And this actually marked the 3rd phase of Seventeen's discography, a transition period, where they tried to be even more experimental and have more dynamics in their music production. Woozi, Bumzu and everyone really did amazing. So proud of them. Remember, this is where FEAR is the title track and then there's HIT & Snapshoot too, so that already says a lot. I'm so glad you turned out to liked my faves in this album. LIE AGAIN, 247, Let Me Hear You Say and Lucky🤗 It's funny how you do get the meaning of NETWORK LOVE yet you were so confused. Yes, it's about two people who met online and developed a romantic relationship. Also, you did hear BACK IT UP. It was on Be The Sun tour setlist together with Game Boi. It was arranged a bit more hyped so maybe you didn't recognize it. Lastly, yes please, it would be really really great if you watch ODE TO YOU tour. You can choose either OTY in Seoul or OTY in LA (dadee S.Coups not here though), both have recordings available. I honestly love the setlist there the most even if BeTS' setlist is also lit... And yes, OTY tour was the one that got cut off but with just the last 1/4, their European leg.

Hit the Road was filmed during SEVENTEEN’s ODE TO YOU tour. From Hit as the starting track all the way to Happy Ending (Korean Version) as the last song An Ode is an amazing amazing album. For me when it comes to SEVENTEEN albums there is no such thing as skipping because to me they have no bad songs. By the way Vernon’s line in Lie Again is the same line he sings in Don’t Wanna Cry makes me believe Lie Again is connected to Don’t Wanna Cry.

P.S. I appreciate your commentaries on Ssulpy with The8. You also shared personal experiences. You were aligned with the discussion throughout, at the same wavelength, that I didn't feel uncomfortable or antsy. Just so you know, that particular guesting actually gained quite a number of negative remarks, which I do understand why. The topic being discussed sensitive and serious and yet they approached it lightly. I think it was the show itself and the topic which were problematic though, not the host or The8. If there's anything, entertainers and celebrities are one of those who are victims of body stereotypes and brainwashing that skinny is better. It was obvious that just not to make it so controversial, they made the 'concern' about someone who doesn't gain weight easily, yet the main question they asked the public was 'are you the type who gains weight easily or not?'. Then everything they discussed was rooted and solved by 'eating' (with some exercise for the maintenance, but it was an afterthought) and that being 'fat equals unhealthy', which is not the case for some. There are people who due to their medical conditions or due to their medications, can't help but gain weight. Anyways, yeah, I'm just saying that it's nice to rewatch this show with less criticism. It's not to say that I don't think there is a huge societal issue that needed to be addressed, but it's just that, in Korea (and toher Asian countries), asking about weight is very natural. Honestly, whenever I meet someone after some time, their first comment is about my body/weight. I hate it like why do they care so much but then maybe that's how the 'greeting' they got used to.

Yea after checking out the video, I also really liked how honest wise, and realistic he was but then heard about the minor backlash sometime later.

I really love your album reactions cuz even I am listening to the full album for the first time with you guys so thank you~ Also, I really liked the An Ode songs too!~ Also I might be wrong but I felt a few of the songs had a callback to other SVT songs since I heard the same line or like another song name but I may be wrong :P Like Vernon sang the same line as the one he sang in Don't wanna cry, and the Performance team mentioned 13th month which could be a reference to lilili yabbay, and there was one more I can't remember now hehe. ---- I also checked out this The8 video before though I did hear there was a minor backlash that had happened cuz of this... But I do understand what they were trying to say and the other side too but idk... Btw I am also on the gain weight side... I don't eat much but I don't move much too lol :(
