Nawt y’all doing a word count on my comment 😭 I actually DID have to write a 1000 word essay this week, which makes me think you guys just manifested it for me 😞 I can definitely write essays about my favorite groups like with seventeen I never really put effort into gaining all this knowledge. I’ve been a carat for almost 5 years now and I just summarize all the info I’ve soaked in from watching them and repeat it to you guys whenever the situation fits 😭 Also I just tend to have a good memory and over explain everything which is why all my comments end up so long 😭 like that 500+ word comment took me 5 minutes to write bcs I was saying my thoughts. (Me explaining my long comment tendencies, turned into a long comment itself 💀)

I'm not sure about other countries but in the PH we call MSG "vetsin/betsin" (name of old famous chinese MSG brand) and based on a fact page from a current famous brand for MSG it's an "UMAMI Seasoning" which is comprised of both sodium and glutamate. Glutamate is a naturally occurring amino acid present in animals and plants, also present in different types of food, such as tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, and various protein sources. A Japanese Professor was able to extract and study glutamic acid from a type of seaweed, from there he couldn't exactly categorize it between the 5 taste categories so he called it the "UMAMI" taste. Also, since MSG is a flavor enhancer, Korean variety shows use it as slang for exaggerated stories or episodes. Editors usually add it in the caption or the people themselves say they "added MSG" to their story. That's that, onto the actual content hahaha the book Seungkwan was reading is titled, "Tomorrow’s Sun Will Rise, But What About Tonight?" by Yeon Jung. After the episode was aired the book increased sales by 500%, they printed 2000 copies after the show but they had to print more as major bookstores and online stores ordered more. The power that Seungkwan holds 🤣 Chicken Mayo/Chicken Mayo Deopbap is like a rice bowl. Dino's recipe includes chicken, fried rice, and scrambled eggs, topped with Japanese mayo. You should try it, it's delish!

First of all, love you ilays and guzman our regular commentor! Shout out to both of you lol. I will be waiting for the poll, but I really wished you would check 17project first more than ever!!! Many new carats (well not so carat *raise eyebrow to the camera*) who checked svt contents from 2020 to current have the idea of svt dynamic and bond are super closed cuz they are senior group. So I hope you guys checking 17project or svt onefine day: 13 castaway boys would see their predebut dynamic yourself and will share to us what you feel *wink* Either way~~~~ any seventeen content is more joy to both of you and me as viewers so I would definitely be here with you in this diamond life journey! 💎 I realized that I was here from 3rd gen tier(maybe it was this name I dont remember cuz its been so long) until now and loving to see you first having some sceptical over their music and performance (not your fault, their numbers of people sure are intimidating and the boys are tend to be misunderstood all the time 🙃) but seeing you guys eventually let go what others think and genuinely enjoying them as wholesome group made me happy. You guys are my first patreon that I subs and going strong until now. Hope you will be here until the last say the name. Love, from one of the dramatic carats 🌕💍 (🌕=dal(moon), 💍=ling (ring pronouced in korean -> dalling=darling) Bye!

S.Coups spoiled that they are going to shoot In the soop again when they were in Singapore for the BeTS concert there, and when they got home, Wonwoo & Cheol posted on weverse on something like they're camping, so maybe they're back! I recommend you guys to watch One Fine Day: 13 Castaway Boys and 17Project! Always love your reactions, xx.

Seventeen definitely treat each other the same, the lines between hyungs and dongsaengs are really blurred. For example most of the time they don't speak in honorifics even to the oldest members. The other thing is during casual shows like TTT or In the SOOP some members even leave out calling older members hyung without any reaction from them so it seems normal for them. I know that some Korean Kpop fans said it was hard for them to learn the age line in Seventeen because they usually relied on who is speaking formally to who, but when all the members are together nobody is speaking formally. In other Groups that are active the same length or even longer than Seventeen the younger Members still speak formally to the hyungs and seriously leaving out the hyung when calling them would be unthinkable.

Yes it’s naturally occurring! Just like salt or sugar is naturally occurring and we’ve just found a way to make it in the lab to add more of it in our food. It’s also referred to as Ajinomoto in Japan and other places because it’s a major distributor of MSG. It literally translates to “flavor base/the basis of flavor” or according to Wikipedia the “essence of taste”. Umami is actually part of the 5 tastes along with salty, sweet, bitter, and sour. And it literally translates to “taste of deliciousness”. People describe it as meaty savory taste. It’s like the taste of boiling down a broth for hours and hours but you can have the same effect by just adding a bit of msg. It’s also a major ingredient of a lot of those seasoning packets like Maggi or Knorr. And there that concludes my msg comments 😂
