basically the album portrays 5 stages of grief 1. denial - opening sequence 2. anger - gbgb 3. bargaining - trust fund baby 4. depression - lonely boy 5. acceptance - thursday's child got far to go it's interesting to relisten to the songs with that perspective in mind.
