I wish SM let him go to more of these early on so that the general public could have gotten to know him even more as a singer. I really really thought there was a chance that we'd get an EXO winter/January thing with 7 members, at least.

Everyone's doing something, people contribute as much as they can. Doing public service is an honor and a big learning experience. Many celebs and even non-celebs come back with a greater appreciation of civic duty and how citizens are somehow connected no matter their backgrounds. I think the boys will learn a lot.

Oh by the way... I think Masked Singer is from KBS? So the episodes are actually subbed on the KBS World Channel (I know my dad watches it)

It's so beautiful how after a few years from this we can hear people singing Chen's songs on the show. He worked really hard and now he's recognized as one of the best solo singers out there 🥺💞

This was during the height of EXO's popularity. I don't think non-Koreans know exactly to what extent. That's why that one guy was trying to take a photo. EXO had a huge fan base and the fans were known to be scary so everyone, including celebrities, were cautious about saying anything wrong or offending their fans. The MC kept pointing out that female judge had no idea who it was when she said she wanted to marry Chen to get that across to the rabid fans so she wouldn't get attacked. The two idols were quick to apologize about their jokes regarding asking Chen to join their respective groups because of this too. LOL
