"Thank you" was written for Ahgase. 1 interesting thing is unlike the title of the song, the song is full of "sorry" and "thank you" only appears at the end of the song. And the lyrics just describe perfectly the relationship between GOT7 and Ahgase

Hyolyn is from the group Sistar, they already disbanded but if you want to listen to songs with summer vibe you should definitely check them out. Jinyoung wrote Thank You for Ahgases because Ahgases kept on saying sorry to them because You Are didn't win any awards and it's the 1st title track that Got7 (JB) wrote. So Jinyoung was basically saying to Ahgases thank you and that we don't have to say sorry. PS. I'm crushing on Kevin's look without the glasses lol

Just to make you cry a little bit more, Thank you is actually written for Aghases because You Are did not get any wins and Aghases keep on saying sorry to GOT7 to the point where bambam and jinyoung told Aghases to stop saying sorry. Hence, Jinyoung wrote the song for us to thank us.

Just thinking about how Thank You was made still makes me cry. These songs are for Ahgase and I really think that it's one of the main reasons this album was totally chill and comforting and has all the vibe whatever you're going through. The Reason is so underrated! Bambam should release more songs and I hope we can see it soon 🙏

I'm so happy you guys enjoyed this album👏 by now you can see the direction of music that the got7 members prefer more. calm yet angsty (haha if that make sense) Thank You is such a special song to us. it is a fansong. like the others mentioned, the song stemmed from after 7for7 era when ahgases were saying sorry for not giving got7 any wins but they said it's not something for us to be sorry about, that they are thankful for the support. more backstory because jinyoung is such a poet: 1) the green galaxy mentioned was referring to the sea of ahgabong during events. the lights looks like twinkling green stars/ocean. 2) in the song the lyrics about cold winter & warm spring was repeated a few times. got7 debuted in january hence in winter. jy was implying that their journey before debut were cold & lonely but when they debuted, altho it was winter, the fans love felt like an embrace of warm spring.
