Okay so for me, the comeback happened at 5am. I was tired, but I decided to listen through the album while laying in bed, eyes closed, with my earbuds in. Amazing songs, and then Eternally happened. When I tell you I jumped at the sudden switch up in that song, I JUMPED 😅 I'm too freaked out right now to add Eternally to my playlist, but it's a nice song just like the others. Loved seeing that I wasn't the only one that was shook for a good few seconds. I enjoyed your reaction, so thank you! ❤ And don't worry about getting to react to the album when you did, I needed the healing time from Eternally if we're being completely honest here 🤷‍♀️

Fairy of Shampoo is a remake of the song by Light and Salt.

Eternally almost feels like a split personality trying to take control on the same song.

Such a great album. Can’t you see me is amazing. The way it brought me back to friendships I’ve lost because I’ve grown apart from people and friendships I have that have strengthened through growth... it absolutely captured that essence of growing up. Fairy of a shampoo is supposedly about someone becoming enchanted with the shampoo ad model. They remade the song. Now drama. I think the song started out as if it was the persons own drama, own story. Then it slowly evolved to being about someone else that’s why they said they needed to get away and say bye bye. It’s how you can lose control of your own story by letting others influence you too much. At that point, the story no longer is yours and you need to get away from it and reclaim your own drama. Maze in the mirror was about their own struggles starting from their trainee days. It’s them trying to find their own identity and their own strength in a time where they were heavily scrutinized. And a time when they had no clue how their future was gonna turn out like if they would debut or not. It’s their inner turmoil reflected as they look into the mirror. Puma is a lot more self explanatory than all of the other songs. Eternally Now when I really read through the translated lyrics of eternally, it took a while for me to form my thoughts. I think out of all the songs in their album, eternally has the most ties to their story line (apart from cant you see me). It talks about being stuck in a dream, a nightmare. They don’t know how to get out. The switch up, I feel, has such a role in making feel like a nightmare. Nightmares start out as dreams. You think it’ll go smoothly... it then it just slaps you in the face. That’s exactly what they did in the song. It took you by surprise. It jumped at you. It was jarring, fragmented. The lyrics also mentioned “that day when it rained flames” which can be more directly connected to their story line. Eternally may not be everybodys cup of tea, but it has a purpose it needed to serve. And the thing about txt is that like BTS, they work their story line throughout the whole album. Eternally sounds like it should be an end, but it actually gives a promise that there’s more to come. That their journey is just beginning. At least that’s how I took these songs in.
