I think the " Cant we just leave the monster alive" its about a coming of age story like you guys said, but through a game metaphor. They are talking about going through this game, and taking different paths, then the ones recommended because they just want to have fun. And when it comes to the end, the dont wanna kill the monster, to win the game(like the final boss of a game), they just wanna stay and play and be boys. Basically, theyre saying that they dont want to grow up. I really liked that message because i feel like at some point in our teens we all saw that threshold that lead to adulthood, and we didnt want to cross it. We just wanted a bit more time to be young and careless, and have fun.

Anyways, thanks for the listening party. This was a good album, i feel like it was a good second chapter for them. I love the coming of age story arc through the album. im excited for their future, they have a unique feel and i want to see how they keep growing.

Same thoughts with roller coaster but as soon as I played the whole album on repeat, I got used to it and it's good 😂. I love this albums as well.

The thing about Rollercoaster is that it is a very experimental song. The off tempo and fast pace can throw you off like a Rollercoaster because throughout the song you dont really know what.to expect so you either love it, or dont. For me it has a very neo seoul feel but also sort of like retro jazz style and im 100% here for it. This song would fit in a Mario Kart OST lol. One of the main reasons i love this song is that it has a sound you cannot find in ANY other kpop song, at least not any newer songs (but i havent heard anything quite like it in older songs either). I really love the fact that while the full album is still very much TXT sound, they are branching out and experimenting with new sounds and genres which is something no other rookie this year has done at all. Plus, the album still connects 100% with the previous album and the theme it follows is truly developed throughout the whole album. I also really enjoy the way the tracks are placed, it makes for quite the listening journey when play the album from start to end. Anyway thank u for the reaction guys. Im glad to see you enjoyed most of it since it feels like now days the b-sides on most Kpop albums (save for BTS) are not very strong, tend to leave you unsatisfied. I honestly cant wait to see where TXT will go with their sound and concepts in the future. 😌🤟
