so this song is paying homage to ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ by webstar and young b. it came out in 2000. hobi and becky both said that they grew up with this song and rapping and dancing along to it. they just remixed it and freshened it up a bit😌

Your Hawaiian shirts are gone 😭. Give me a minute...I will miss them. But I like the new background a lot 👍🏻. This song will be stuck in my head for tge next couple of days 😂. I like it...Hobi did a great job...one of the best collabs they did so far. This song screams J-Hope...the flow and their chemistry is 👌🏻

Aye Kevin lol. Most people relate chicken noodle soup to the word home which makes people think about their home or childhood. Since this was a homage to the original song of the same name back in 2000, Hobi and Becky G said that this song reminded them of their childhood and that they grew up listening to this song. Hobi specifically said that this song was what he first danced to when he first started to dance. So in a nutshell this song was not only referencing their childhood/home; paying homage to the original song; but also about reminiscing about a time in their lives that was meaningful. BUT it's okay if you didn't like the chorus part lol. TBH when this first came out back in 2000 I did get tired of the song real fast since it was EVERYWHERE I went, but that's just like all good songs at one point or another. Sooner or later another good song will come along and be your new jam and then the process continues. Have a great day Kevin and David!

But I agree with Kevin's point about the Chicken Noodle Soup chorus, but after listening to it a couple times, that's the ONLY PART that played in my head over and overtoday! Ugh.
