Haha, as always Hanbin, B.I wrote the song. And yes, after being confined, constrained, restricted by YG ever since he was 14 yo, all he really needs is freedom (theme of the song) He wrote this song in 2017, during iKON"s longest hiatus from Korea (when they were shipped to Japan). It was from this moment on Hanbin often mentions that he wants to be free, (such as in iKON TV) or that in his next life he wants to become the wind.. so that he can go wherever he wants without being restrained by anything (Weekly Idol, Japan Lives, Radio shows)

Thank you for reacting this song! BI wrote this song. He’s genius. Actually GREGORY is a clothing brand and iKON is the models for the brand. It’s an ad commercial. to answer you, Hanbin wrote this song with Bobby writing his own rap. Hanbin made this song with his studio friends in iKON TV, the same friends that made Love Scenario.

Gregory is a brand that iKON is endorsing. There is no official mv for freedom but they do have amazing live performance vids. I also agree that the vid is trippy because it keeps going back and forth to like past and present. The only thing i understood in this vid is the fact that iKON looks so huggable with those Gregory jackets! 😁😍😍😍

'Who made this song? Sounds so different...' 😁 Our boy HanBin did. Bobby had part on writing the rap, of course. I believe iKON can do any genre without a problem. That's how versatile they are. 😊

You just have to watch the live performance to fully enjoy it. most iKON songs HanBin made are for live performances for everybody to enjoy. You have that feeling when you hear B-Day, Dumb &amp; Dumber, Bling Bling, Freedom etc in live performances. I think how the guys carry the song esp Bobby and June adlibs.
