Actually bts talked about how the other member moms was jealous because hobi's mom got a special song :) and his mom was there when he performed it in this video, it was hobi's birthday too. Such a special day for him and his mom 💜

are behind the cams on fridays or saturdays? they're on fridays right? Cause if i remember correctly, they were but because last week things got mixed up, you pushed it to saturday to do BV on friday. But behind the cams are on fridays normally?

If I’m not delusional, I think I saw you guys got teary at the end😊 Not blaming you though cuz I cried when I first watched this as well. Thank you for the reaction. Mama is such a sweet sweet song Hobi wrote for his mother. Also, the fact that it’s a fun and energetic song yet the lyrics are of those slow songs that got you emotional makes it even more amazing. Hobi did a really great job👍 It is said that if Jungkook is the ‘golden maknae’, then J-hope is the ‘golden hyung.’ While his rapping and dancing skills are awesome, this performance shows you that he’s a very good singer as well. I’m sure his mom was so proud of him. Just a little information about the song regarding the connection with the BU, this song is one of the solos that don’t have anything to do with the story. I’m sure you guys already know this since the 1st line of the lyrics said “Time travel, the year 2006.” This shows that he’s telling his own personal story. However, the name “Mama” is kinda related to the BU in a way, as J-hope’s character has the trauma of his mother abandoning him at an amusement park. It revolves around the word ‘mother.’ Another thing I want to point out, is the fact that BTS aren’t afraid to try different sounds and style of music, and not just the typical kpop style. Like when you guys were surprised at the choir, and Kevin noticed the stained glass stage. Mama is a Gospel, pop-like music which most kpop groups don’t do. It’s one of the reasons why BTS attract so many kinds of people. Their music is very varied in genres. Thank you so much for the video again. Love you guys💜💜

Also, yes you guys have listened to Awake before, but just a little bit. Actually, you guys have reacted to a tiny bit of each of their solo songs before but never reacted to the full songs.

DUDE omg, hobi's story is one of my favourites in this, and if ya'll haven't watched the youtube shortfilm for MAMA then please do, its so cool, and hes like in some typa recovery home or pshyce house and yea its crazy, its so good.. i really wish bighit would make a movie about the bts storyline bc its too deep and too good to be forgotten
