Fae Knight Aishatou, The Wave Dancer (Patreon)

Newlyn touches the portal's rippling form and it resists for a moment, as if allowing him a final chance to reconsider before passing through it. The Morphling's minds are made up, however, and with a forceful push, he steps through with Neoma following right behind him.  

They pass through the frigid waters that fill the portal, and emerge somewhere foreign to both of them. Rather than the damp dimness of the caves, the pair suddenly find themselves in open air once more - but not on land. Their boots thud on the deck of a massive galleon, which despite being split nearly in two, still somehow floats on the unquiet waves around it. With a start, they realize that they know where they are; this is the gigantic shipwreck that can be seen from every point in the Eventide Channel!  

There's an enormous spiral of water that emerges from the midst of the shipwreck, like a spear that has been thrust through it from below. It spins so rapidly that its surface froths, and yet, as the Morphlings stare at their surroundings in awe, the spiral begins to slow. It diminishes more and more until the water spout ceases rotating entirely...and then bursts outwards. In a shower of glittering tide, the towering figure which had always been hidden at the spout's center is revealed!

Neoma and Newlyn stare in shock as the figure lands with a quiet, graceful tap on the galleon's deck. It's a Fae Knight - the very same fae knight which the knights in the caves had been praying to a statue of. She's gigantic, the largest either of them have yet seen!  

The Fae Knight steps towards them, her body moving in strange, unnatural ways. Her thighs flex in the middle as if there is a hidden knee there, and yet they are rigid for her next step - as if everything inside of her body is too fluid. Still, despite this unnatural manner, she moves with an irreproachable grace. With the silken movements of a dancer, she sweeps an arm up into the air and forms a sickle of water in her extended hand

• Location: Wrecked Ship Deck - Large flat area that is roughly rectangle in shape
• Status: Both Newlyn and Neoma are satisfied but a little worn.

Challenge;

Fae Knight Aishatou, The Wave Dancer. . One of the greater Fae Knights that inhabit the Eventide Channel.  Aishatou is fast and relentless, mixing savage stabs with waves of destructive water and the ability to quickly disengage if things are not in her favor. Like all Fae Knights, her form is infused with Gothic magic, but her water abilities are primal magic attuned.

Choices;

• Newlyn takes the lead with Neoma providing support.
• Neoma takes the lead with Newlyn providing support.
• Newlyn and Neoma both charge in to form a flanking formation.
• Use the Withered Bold Soul obtained from Lena on Aishatou.
