엄마는 수술을 잘 마치고 요양을 하고 있어요 :)

혹시나 혹시나 혹시나 무슨 일이 생기지는 않을까 걱정 많이 했는데 마취 깬 엄마를 보니 그간의 불안이 많이 해소되더라고요.

어쨌든 말도 많고 탈도 많았던 입원생활을 끝내고 지금은 한방병원에서 요양중이신데, 아니 한방병원 비싸도 너무 비싸더라고요? 무슨 느낌이냐면... 피부과로 비유하자면 얼굴에 좋다고 하는 시술이란 시술 그냥 다 권유하고 해주는 느낌? 얼굴에 잡티 좀 있고 주름 좀 있어도 사는데 지장 없는데 고것들 다 잡으려고 레이저 받고 시술 받으면 진짜 엄청 비싸잖아요? 근데 받으면 얼굴이 좋아지긴 하잖아요? 그 느낌 ㅋㅋ 좋은건 알겠는데... 아니 이렇게까지? 이 느낌. 

그래도 수술 직후에는 엄마 몸 컨디션이 영 좋지 않아서 밥 챙겨먹는 것도 쉽지 않아서 일주일정도 요양하기로 한건데 일주일정도는 괜찮은 것 같아요. 솔직히 누군가는 하룻밤 호캉스에 백만원도 쓰잖아요? 다른 것도 아니고 암수술을 하고 요양하시는 건데 그냥 이때만이라도 쉬자 해서 요양을 선택했는데 다행히도 엄마 컨디션이 아주 아주 많이 좋아졌답니다. 병원 밥이 어찌나 잘 나오는지 나도 매일 그 밥 먹고싶어... 급식먹던 시절로 돌아가고 싶은 어른이...

다만 수술 후부터는 대화만 하려고 하면 기침을 많이 하시긴 하는데 원래 다들 그런건지 앞으로 어떻게 관리해야 하는지는 병원 외래를 가게 되면 의사선생님께 여쭈어봐야할 것 같아요.

My mom finished her surgery and is now recovering :)
I was very worried that something might happen during her surgery. So when I saw her awake from the anesthetic , I was very relieved.

After tough(lol) hospital life, she is now at a Korean medicine clinic for focusing on her recovery. It costs a LOT to stay there getting treatments and services actually. Let me give you an example for your understanding. Let's say you go to a dermatologist. They recommend everything that's good for your skin. Even when we have some blemishes and wrinkles on the face, we can still live our lives well but they recommend to fix them with super expensive treatments. After those expensive treatments, it's obvious that your skin looks way better lol! 

Right after the surgery, my mom wasn't feeling well. She couldn't even eat well. So despite the expensive cost, mom decided to get care at a Korean medicine clinic. Well, someone spends 1,000$ for one night at a fancy hotel so we all agreed that my mom deserved the high cost healing time. Good thing is, my mom's condition has improved a lot! I also want to eat meals there every day cause they serve fresh healthy good meals.

One thing we still worry is that after surgery, everytime my mom talks, she coughs. I think I should ask the doctor if it's usual symptoms after the lung surgery.
