Thank you 2021, Welcome 2022 :) Letter from Eunzel 새해를 앞두고, 은젤의 편지 (Patreon)

2021년의 마지막 날이네요.

2018년 2월부터 본격적으로 유튜브 활동을 시작했으니 이제 내년 2월이면 저도 어느덧 5년차 유튜버로의 삶이 시작되는 셈이에요. 한 분야에서 나의 자리를 조그맣게라도 잡기 위해서는 5년이 필요하다는 말을 항상 마음에 새기고 사는데, 그래서 매해 나는 어떤 새로운 일을 하고 어떤 발전이 있었나 돌아보게 돼요. 휴, 2022년은 5년을 채우는 해인만큼 정말 열심히 살아야겠다는 다짐이 드네요.

올해는 여러가지가 있었지만 무엇보다도 스튜디오 은젤이라는 크루로 활동하면서 제가 “대표”가 되었다는 점이 있겠네요. 편집자님과 저 두명뿐인 사업체라 대표라는 말도 무색하긴 하지만, 태어나 처음으로 느껴보는 부담감과 책임감은 저를 또 한번 성장하게 해주는 것 같아요. 내년에는 스튜디오 은젤로 더 활약하면 좋겠다는 꿈을 가져보네요. 올해는 투자와 적응의 해였으니까요.

그리고 올해에는 제가 오프라인에서 제 개인적인 시간을 조금씩 갖기 시작한 해이기도 해요. 인터넷 방송을 시작한 건 2016년 11월이었으니까 올해로 인터넷 방송인으로서는 벌써 5년차였는데요. 5년만에 처음으로 개인 시간을 가졌던 것 같아요. 가져보니 제게 꼭 필요한 시간과 경험이었다는 생각이 들더라구요. 저는 업무와 관련되지 않은 개인 이야기를 요란스레 얘기하고 싶지 않은 사람이라 프라이빗은 프라이빗으로 남겨두려 하지만, 그럼에도 저라는 사람의 삶에 큰 변화가 생기게 된다면 이 곳에 가장 먼저 이야기할게요.

치열하고 외롭게 일하면서 때로는 너무 지치고 힘들고 삶의 목적을 잃어버리는 듯 할 때도 있었는데, 언제나 이 공간이 큰 힘이 되어 왔어요. 유튜브를 시작한 것 다음으로 잘한 일은 독점 페이지를 운영하기로 한 것이라고 생각해요 :)

그러므로 내년에도 잘 부탁드리겠습니다.

From tomorrow, it’s 2022! Happy new year.

I started Youtube officially Feb. 2018, so from Feb.2022, I’m a 5 years old Youtuber already. Since I believe it takes atleast 5 years to make one’s ‘place’ in one field, I try to try new things and make changes every year. And I’ll be doing my best next year since it’s the 5th year lol.

There’ve been tons of things happened around me and of all, the main thing is that I became the boss of someone by launching “Studio Eunzel”. It’s funny to call myself boss because I’ve got only one editor but still it makes me grow by letting me know what responsibility is. Hopefully next year, Studio Eunzel can be bigger :)

And 2021 was also the first year that I chose to spend some of my time off line, privately. Because I started my streaming on Nov.2016, 2021 has been already the 5th year of being a creator. I found out that having private time is also so important for me. I usually want to keep my personal “off line” life private and don’t want to speak out loud about every tiny little things and changes around me. but if there get to be a big, official change in my life, HERE is going to be the first place to share the news.

Working lonely, hard, sometimes I felt like I lost the way I should go. Everytime I feel like that, this place has been my cozy, reliable azit. One of the best things I’ve ever done is to open this page to meet you. Really.
